In class each of us has to write a motivational speech, and deliver it in front of the class. We've been watching speeches made, and have written down several topics. The problem is, I don't know how to start mine. I know the intro is supposed to have a hook, and grab the attention of the audience, but I'm having some major trouble of writing that. Can somebody please give me some advice on how to write an intro for a motivational speech?

And, basically a lot of popular well known YA and some adult books. I'm looking for books that aren't very well known, but are a really good read.

During the Civil War

I was recently just cast as Molly in the play of Annie. I'm not really sure what to do, to be prepared for the role or anything. If anybody was Molly, or has any advice/tips can you please share so I can be ready when rehearsals start in mid-June? If anybody was Molly can you please also share what it was like being Molly and things you liked about the lines/songs?

When I was walking home today, my friend took my phone and automatically began texting the guy I liked. She then called him three times, each hanging up on him. He didn't know that was her, and thought it was me, and called back VERY angry. Now everytime I try texting him or calling him he won't answer. What do I do...?

I was wondering if I was underweight. I'm a thirteen year old girl, and am 4ft 11in. I weigh 77 pounds. Is that underweight, or just right for my size? Thankss! :)
