  • How do you return to a natural sleep pattern after skewed pattern too long?

I am getting worried about myself. I was already retired, disabled, but after a split up in my marriage, my kids chose to live with their dad. They are completely alienating themselves from me now.

I do have depression problems, which I am being helped with medically and going to therapy. I am on antidepressant now. I have moved to a new town and the new doctor I am seeing does not know or really help me at this time.

I began staying up late and getting up late, then it has gradually gotten worse, so that I am sleeping all day and staying up all night.

I try to make myself go to bed earlier or gradually change my sleep patterns, but I just lie in bed for many hours and finally get up.

HELP! I am missing out on normal life I feel...it is getting out of hand.

  • Why are young girls maturing SO early??

I have heard ideas about it this. My daughters seemed to mature early somewhat; and maybe just a little too wise for words for their age (I attribute to all the media, i.e. music, movies, explicit behavior abounding...).

Now my granddaughter is having to wear a bra at age 81/2.

She is developing in other ways that shock me for her age.

And she is also well informed for her age, for reasons I stated above and whatever else I did not mention.

It doesn't seem to be such with boys, unless I am wrong.

But the girls....it is getting waaaaaay too early.

Anyone REALLY think they have answers? Have any of you mothers or fathers asked pediatricians directly?

  • What are agorophobics actually like?

I am disable, retired, have suffered from depression, and have been through quite a traumatic year or so: 5 deaths in family, split up of marriage, kids alienated from me, new to living alone, financial loss and lack. Also, my mother has had ovarian cancer but is now doing better.

I used to be quite gregarious. Now I stay home all the time; sometimes it saves me money; sometimes I just want to stay away from it all.

I am beginning to do it more and more, and someone warned me I might be becoming agorophobic...and it has been getting worse, not wanting to get out.

How would I actually know? I don't FEAR it; I just don't want to be bothered w/it. I admit, after having been in quite awhile, getting out makes me nervous sometimes...

  • When one parent alienates the children from the other, what can the alienated parent do?

My daughters chose to live with their father and since then completely have nothing to do with me or any of my family.

It is heartbreaking. They don't even speak. Before they quit speaking they were verbally abusive to me, speaking as their father did in our marriage. They have cursed, spat on, or hit me. They mimic their abusive father.

I have absolutely no clue what to do but pray and try to deal with ongoing serious depression.

Are there legal remedies? They are teenagers so I don't see how anything will work.

  • How can a county government file bankruptcy?

In the area where I used to live, the county is going under financially and is said to be going to file bankruptcy.

What happens when a government entity files? How does that work?

  • Where did Obama come up with so much money??

He is consistently reported to be holding exorbitant amounts of money continuously when other candidates are running out...so who is keeping his fire burning financially so he never runs low? It is odd...

If there is such a case to be made, I wonder if any Middle East money is backing him secretly...
