My dog is a little over 1yr old. Last year she showed no concerns of firework sounds during the 4th of July. But last night someone in the area was shooting off fireworks and my dog came to me scared and shaking. And again tonight something she heard (no fireworks) she started shaking and was scared. What can I do to help her over come sounds that has just started scarring her. She is a big dog, a coon hound mix. I hate for her to go through this. Anyone have any suggestions?

I bought a house built in the late sixties that has a dark ceramic tile in the foyer. I believe the other owners had put a wax or something on it to get a better shine on it. The problem now is when you damp mop it, it leaves a film on it showing foot prints. What is the best way to remove what ever that may have been put on it to avoid this film it leaves?

I was wondering if the tumble machines found in the craft stores will really tumble raw gem stones clean? Has anyone had experiance using one of these?

I have just painted my office a dark charcoal gray with the ceiling several shades lighter. The wood work is a cherry and my large L shape desk is cherry and black as well as the credenza. Then there is a lot of black acesseries of office equiptment. So I thought maybe an office chair or some smaller items in a light blue, about the shade of a baby blue with some white. I think that would give it a nice look. Any other thoughts of color?

In the past I have given my dogs the store bought product Lanitone to help reduce the shedding problem. But will cod liver oil or even a little olive oil in her daily food help slow down the shedding and stll be good for her?

I have canceled their service in Feb., and asked them to pick up their 2 containers. They say they will but don't. I am fed up with this company that is why I canceled them to begin with. Now I have these containers junking up my yard. And now they also continue to send me bills for service that I don't have. I figure if I sent them a bill that I will charge them $20 a day for storage of their containers on my property, then maybe they will move their tails and come and get them and stop billing me. Can I do this legally ?
