Not looking to break the bank, hoping to find very good quality for acceptable price. Looking for PoE system with 8 channel NVR. 4 Cameras need to be waterproof for outside. 2 Are going inside. I have the hard drive for the recorder. Ran Cat5e lines to areas for cameras. Please send along a few options for me to look into. Thanks, much appreciated. I have a Dell Optiplex 170L and I am trying to load any other OS than XP. I have tried Vista, 7, Ubuntu, and Win Server 2008 to no avail. I have also tried a SATA HDD instead of the OEM IDE HDD. Next I am going to try updating the BIOS. When ever I try to boot to the Drive, it skips it and loads straight to the OS. I have looked into every crevice of the BIOS settings and nothing changes the outcome. I was hoping someone could direct me as to what might work best. I thought I could also try putting the HDD into another machine with IDE and see if it boots that way... Anything thing will help!

I have a Cisco VPN router which I have setup and I have a WAN address. Away from my house, I can connect to the VPN from my computer but I cannot access any resources from my LAN (home). Such as, in iTunes, I should be able to see the AirPlay button and my other libraries under Home Sharing are not there. Also, I can ping to the other devices such as an Apple TV but I cannot do anything that I should be able to do past that.

Then on my iOS device, I can connect to the VPN as well but I cannot access anything from my LAN. No computers/libraries show up in Sharing in Music and it is very frustrating. Also, in the app Remote. I cannot access my Apple TV or other libraries. Then I have the Airport Express client and that does not find my router either!!!

Please direct me in the right direction to a solution. I have spent over a year trying to find a solution....

I want to install these Insignia speakers on my house in the backyard. I would like to know what type of wire i should use to wire them into my house. I don't know if i should use a 12 gauge wire, etc? Then with the amp, i wanted to buy a simple amp, without a receiver, for no more than $100.00. I see these speakers peak power is 60W. Would this mean i need an amp to handle 60W, or 120W? Thanks

I have a Nissan Altima I4 2.5. 2006 83K Two Christmas's ago, on the way home from a family member's house, the service engine soon light came on, steady. The mechanic said the OBD sensor pointed to the crankshaft position sensor. Before this was replaced, the car would skip, almost like the power stopped for a second. I realized this happened because of this sensor malfunction, the ECM would glitch. After that when the air would be on after a 30 min drive, the engine would start making a gurring noise. Only when power is applied. But what is most strange is that the noise would only occur through the engine in 1st and 2nd gear. Like on the parkway, in low gears, the engine would gurr, than over 40MPH in a gear higher than 3, the noise was/is much less faint. This past Christmas, two position sensors needed to be replaced. One connecting to the transmission CM. Before and after this sensor change, every time the engine would be started, it would make a loud bang and thump on the passenger side, near the bottom it felt like. Where the serpentine belt is located. This thud is much worse on a cold start. Before these two past sensors were replaced, and the car wouldn't start, it made the largest and loudest bam bam bam at the bottom on that side! Now recently, in low gears in the city, it will gurr and hard shift in 1st and 2nd, up or down. Even if the air is on or off, after 10 mins the engine will start this noise. The ac makes it worse. And what is very weird is that this noise has gone away, and around christmas and ac time, it will gur and always thump on startup! Please tell me what could be causing this. Do i need to replace the engine? Thanks in advance!! Paul

I built my own computer and I installed 8GB of memory. (2x4) It says that 3.61GB are "usable". Why would this happen and how do I correct it?

So a friend gave me an extra computer that he had sitting off to the side. I got rid of his HDD because all his information was on it and i wanted to do a clean install of Win. 7. I put an extra, clean HDD i had inside (Western Digital 320GB/5400RPM/SATA). I turn it on, then it runs halfway into BIOS and a screen comes up and says PXE-E61:Media test failure, check cable. Under that, PXE-M0F:Exiting PXE ROM. Then... Disk Boot Failure, insert system disk and press enter. When i put the same HDD into a laptop to try installing the OS that way, after i turn it on and BIOS starts, it randomly shuts off and then on again and does a cycle of this. I tried putting the HDD into a SATA to USB connection to my desktop, and the HDD doesn't show up in My Computer or Devices. But when i unplug it from the desktop, it sounds the disconnection noise (Windows 8). Then after that, I put it back into the laptop and the laptop went through BIOS but then said No Bootable Device... Please direct me to a solution to fix this problem!!

I am considering purchasing a VoIP Phone Modem. I am curious if i need to pay for a service such as Vonage for it to work?
