I am looking to get another dog. I need a medium to large breed, sociable dog as I already have a 15 month old ridgeback.
We were thinking of getting a weimerana but they apparently have pretty serious behavioral problems...

My (female) puppy is getting desexed in a couple of weeks. The vet has said they will remove everything, uterus, ovaries, everything... Is this normal? It seems a little extreme to me.
