If I don't understand chess does it mean I am not smart?
I generally consider myself a bright person, but I have been trying to learn how to play chess for several years and must admit I just don't get it. My big question is what exactly am I trying to do? Beyond that, why am I trying to do it and how does anybody know how they should be going about doing whatever it is they are trying to do? Can anyone help me????
