  • citizens police academy?

Has anyone attended a citizens police academy? Was it worth the classes and such, I am thinking of it, its a large commitment 12 weeks in the evenings, was curious what you got out of it, and if you felt it was worth attending.

  • Obama and Benghazi who cares we don't know?

Why are the Republicans so concerned with a couple CIA agents who shouldn't have been in Libya in the first place and a liberal, elitist leftist like Christopher Stevens get wacked.

  • Syria and chemical weapons?

Why are liberals and conservatives so excited to jump into another middle east conflict in Syria. One would think that with a slow economy, huge national debt, and high unemployment this isn't the time to bring on more debt. Assad is using chemical weapons on his people....sounds like a Syrian, Arab League, and EU problem to me.

  • Rise in arrests in Boston?

Will there be a rise in arrests in Boston based on the warrantless information gathered during the police door to door searches and warrantless scanning of peoples homes with high end surviellence equiptment, that is now digitally stored for the FBI and Boston PD to go over at their leisure. I hardly expect the digital map to be destroyed once it was made by the Police.

  • RICIN....and the FBI?

How come no one calls out the FBI for swearing that guy sent the RICIN, right up to the point to everyone that it obviously wasn't him. I remember reading all those stupid news people swearing it was him, and the FBI saying "we believe we got our man"......."We still think we got him"....."ok we messed up again....."

  • Boston Marathon Bombing....?

Since the crime happened in Boston, the suspect never left the state, and he was a resident of the state shouldn't he be charged in the state, since its a sovereign state. Also isn't it funny that Massachusetts doesn't have a death penality, if the good people of massachusetts didn't want to put their criminals to death we should respect their opinions, and if they feel differently they can vote to change it. Why should the Feds bail out the stupid liberals in Massachusetts b/c they were so dumb they removed the death penality.

  • Why are RPGs considered WMD?

Why did the government re-class RPGs as weapons of mass destruction? Almost every country and even the Mexican Cartels have them.

  • Mercs in America....you happy about that?

They usually call themselves private contractors, but lets just call them what they are, Mercs, selling their services to the highest bidder here or abroad. If SHTF are you going to be happy that Mercs like Blackwater aka Xe are in your city shooting home owners? I know a lot of these Blackwater boys come from good ol American places, but they sold their alliegences long time ago.

  • FN Five Seven hand load ammo?

I heard from a guy at the gun store that some ammo for the FN Five Seven which has the ability to pierce armor, is restricted by the company to LEO. There is a civilian version of the round, which doesn't have armor piercing ability. I was looking into it and saw that it appears to only be lower pressure or fewer grains of powder, is this true if you hand loaded the round could you reach the LEO version of the round?

  • Good rifle design? Bullpup?

I have decided to buy another rifle, I have been looking at the AR 15 to match with my SKS, however, when I buy a gun I need it to do a specific task. I am looking for a multi use rifle, I want one that is mobile enough for urban combat but has the barrel and caliber range to reach out to 600-800m. That is why the bullpup design has intrigued me, I have never shot a bull pup, but I was curious about people interactions with the bullpup. I am looking at the M17s, SA80 or I read you can convert an M1 or AR15 into a bullpup. I don't know how well one would convert over though, any though?

  • Best caliber tactical carbine in the AR 15... or other? + Barrel length?

I have decided to spring for a tactical carbine, I am looking at a flat top AR 15, I was curious I know you can buy them chambered for .223, 30.06 or the .308, I intend to use this gun as a SHTF rifle, so I won't use it for hunting or anything else just range use and in case SHTF use. I was also curious about barrel length or the best combination of the caliber vs barrel length. I know the 16inch is better for close quarter but gives up range, so I am torn.

  • FFL and Form 4473 and searching?

I recently wanted to organize some files, and realized I lost some receipts for some rifles I bought way back when. I called the store, told them my name and gave them the serial number of the guns. I was quite surprised when they said they wanted the date bough and year, now I bought these weapons like 10 or so years ago. I found it hard that macy can pull up an exact copy of my receipt but a FFL dealer at a store can't. They said they keep them in boxes in the back and they would need a date so they could hand go through it. Is this just a fluke FFL dealer or do must FFL holders not keep some kind of electronic record which to search for old 4473 forms?

  • American Irish and the IRA?

I was curious, for all you Irish/Americans how many of you actively support the IRA or other Irish freedom groups. I know early in the 19th century it was quite popular for Irish Americans to support the IRA, even Peter King a congressman supported them, but how about now? I was recently with some coworkers friends and they were talking about the situation back in Ireland, which struck me as odd I didn't realize Irish Americans cared anymore....

  • Phoney conservatives vs Liberals?

Ever notice that every time there is a shooting or gun crime the liberals can't seem wait to rush to destroy the constitution? Institute broad over reaching policies that restrict our freedoms?

Ever notice that any time the government whispers Islam or terrorism the conservatives can't wait to rush to destroy the constition, they practically beg the Feds to pass stricter versions of the Patriot Act and NDAA. They beg the government to grow in size and to pass broad reaching policies?
