So I used to smoke 4 cigarettes a day, but I started dipping instead. I finally got it down, and I can get my nicotine fix. I noticed when I keep the saliva in my mouth longer before spitting, I get a better buzz. So my question is why do people spit at all? I understand that after a while you get an uncomfortably large amount of saliva and you HAVE to spit, but I don't understand how those regular dippers spit like ALL THE TIME. Why don't they just leave the saliva in their mouth longer instead of spitting out like a machine gun.

I'm a male college student, and I've never had a girlfriend or been on a date my whole life. I am unbelievably awkward around them. I'm really skinny and look like your average white trash semi-ugly kid. I have zero self-esteem, so I never worked up the courage to ask them on a date ever since I got rejected a few times in a row during early highschool. I got over it, and now I just don't talk to them. Well since summer, I landed a really nice job, and at this job there are A LOT of really beautiful smart women around my age. The problem is that EVERY TIME they talk to me, I get unreasonably nervous. Nervous to the point where I literally can't think of anything to say, and I end up saying something unbelievably stupid or awkward. I'm really nice to customers and my other male employees, but every time one of these women work next to me or talk to me I just clam up and become an idiot incapable of communicating on an elementary level. I can't stand it. I'm not scared to talk to them it's just that every time I tried it gets REALLY awkward. My question I guess would be that if you are a woman and you met someone like this what would you think? Like I feel like they think I'm actually retarded or have some disability.

I'm turning 21 soon, and I wanted to purchase my first handgun. My brothers tell me I have to get a pistol permit before I can purchase one though. Is there anything I should know about these permits, or how I go about getting one? From what I understand, isn't it as simple as just going to your sheriff's office and just asking for one? Obviously, background checks and stuff, but is it really that simple?

So I saw an advertisement about people "suffering" from binge eating disorder, and the ad advised those "victims" to go to their website for help or whatever.

My question: How the hell is that a disorder? It is so utterly stupid. So if I decide to recklessly abandon my health, and I start stuffing myself with food then does that mean I am a victim of binge eating disorder? NO! It means I'm an idiot for eating too much. How is this an actual thing? I beat these same guys also suffer from restless leg syndrome and are Ritalin addicts. What a joke.
