I have an iPod touch 4g that I rather unfortunately dropped, cracking my screen. I have put up with the cracks, as they did not hinder my ability to use the device (except for when the cracks were in the way of words). I do not have enough money to buy a new iPod, nor do I have enough to have it fixed. My parents refuse to buy me a new one because I did not take care of this one, despite the fact that my iPod is several years old and can no longer play RAM-heavy games the way it used to. Raging aside, I have come across a rather serious issue with my iPod in the past few days. The screen randomly decided that it was going to mess with me by becoming ultra-sensitive, by which I mean that holding my finger about an inch above the screen will register as me actually touching the screen. This problem has occurred before, mostly during the winter when the device became cold. However, this is the summer, and my iPod somehow knows that I would like to talk to my friends and decided that wasn't going to happen. I have trouble opening apps, typing, looking at pictures, and watching movies (the last two are because the sensitivity issues make the pictures wriggle around and the movie screen either continually resize itself or close out). In the past, this has lasted for a few weeks, and then my iPod returns to normal.

So, my question is:

Is there a way to fix my screen's sensitivity problem without spending money or sticking it in the microwave? Or, is it time to give up?

I have an HP computer that came with Windows 7 and has an Intel i5 core inside. Recently, it has refused to connect to the internet.... Actually, it is directly connected to our wifi router, and it says that we should have internet access, but when I try to go on Internet Explorer, I get an error message that says that I failed to connect to the internet. My computer also refuses to connect to the printer and my iPad. I do have Minecraft on my computer, which caused some overheating issues in the past, so I got a fan pad so that it would remain cool when I was using it. However, the computer now heats up and sounds like a plane taking off when I turn it on and log on my account. I tried to download optifine (or something along those lines) so that my computer would stop overheating when I played Minecraft, but my computer rejected it, thinking that it was a virus.

I also have Stopzilla installed to prevent malware from popping up, and it has been warning me about lots of cookies that are potentially dangerous. At the last count, there were over 200 of them that I had Stopzilla take care of. I disabled all cookies in my internet settings, so hopefully this will no longer be a problem.

I have also sent my computer in for servicing once. The hard drive was damaged, and the company that made my computer wiped everything and reset it to factory settings before transferring the account info to a new computer and sending it back.

So is there anything that I can do to fix my computer before I send it in for servicing again? Or should I look into getting a new computer and save myself the trouble?

I am playing with the seed "jpgaming", and after building an awesome house and settling in, I would like to know where I can find gold. I have looked this up on other websites, but they don't give me any locations for gold. I need enough gold to build a Nether Reactor.... Some more diamonds would be helpful as well, since I made a diamond sword (cue Tobuscus Diamond Sword Song!!!). If there is any way to get a few more diamonds and at least 9 gold ores, that would be awesome.

I should probably include that I am using the Minecraft Pocket Edition v0.5.0 alpha.
