  • Is traveling from US to Canada and back on B1 visa possible?

    My girlfriend has a B1 visa and resides in Salt Lake City. I will be in Montreal (Qc) from the 1st of November until the 31st of March. She wants to visit me around Christmas, only for 10 days or so. Is this possible with her B1 visa?

    Secondly, I am making a transit in Washington DC on the 1st of November and want to re-enter the US on the 1st of April or so, to visit my girlfriend. I needed a B2 visa for this (which made the transit quite expensive). Anyway, my second question is: will I get any trouble because I left the US for about 5 months and want to reenter on the same visa?

    And thirdly: should I already book my flight from Montreal to Salt Lake City, to be able to get into Canada without a visa?
