Do you think I should trade for a Point scoring Player (25+ppg)?

Hes a very good, safe, and cautious driver, and is not the kind of kid that would race a car. So, to make sure he wouldn't race a car, I am willing to get him a more luxurious car. I was thinking of a 2002 or 2003 Jag X-type 2.5. I like this car and own one, but it is a 2006, and does not have very many miles on it. We have been looking around and have seen several that are 2002 and 2003's that have under 60,000 miles on them. He will be paying half, and of those we have looked at are under $14,000. I know that he will take care of it, because he always is cleaning and polishing mine. So my question is how are X-types when they start getting at the 70,000+miles on them? It will be used for going to school, work, and to friends houses. which are all in close proximity to our house.

How good are these cars with higher miles? ive heard people swear by them and then some writers in magazines that rip on them.

Thinking about getting an A4 or A6, used. just to try it
