I bought this HP laptop a little more than a week ago, and a couple of days ago, my brother was using the laptop without the battery, but plugged into the mains supply. My little cousin decided to come and pull the plug out, and the laptop switched off instantly. Since then, I have been trying to turn the laptop on, but all that happens is it shows the HP startup sign, and then a black screen after which nothing happen. Sometimes at the startup sign it says Preparing Automatic Repair, which then leads to the black screen.

Does anyone have any idea what damage/faults there may be and would you be able to tell me what the best solutions are?

It is a HP Pavilion g6-2216sa Laptop and runs Windows 8.

Basically my friend had multiple accounts and one of them had been hacked. I kept getting random messages from that account so I decided to block it. However, I blocked the wrong one lol, so how can I unblock them?

I have tried going onto the Privacy Settings > Manage Blocking, but they are not on the blocked list???

I also tried going onto their profile page to unblock but it says "The page you requested was not found."

Any ideas on what I can do?

Why did Federer lose around 800 ranking points from the 7th of November on the 14th of November, despite winning the BNP Paribas Masters (Paris Masters)? He was knocked out in the semi-final last year, so he got 360 points for that last year. This year he won it so isn't he supposed to lose last years 360 points, and gain 1000 points for the victory?

He went down from 7,530 points on the 7th to 6,670 on the 14th??????

Also Murray got to the quarterfinals last year and this year, so shouldn't his points stay the same?

He went down from 7780 to 7380??

I am a huge, huge fan of the Metal Gear series. I have all the games now except for Metal Gear Solid (The 1998). I just wanted to know if anyone knows where I can download a version of this game which I can play on my PC, and what would I have to do?

Was the 1st set of Federer v Djokovic not like the best set of tennis seen for a long time?

And Djokovic attacks Federers backhand a lot more ruthlessly than nadal does?

Amir Khan is a very quick puncher and has shown against Maidana that he can take hits and stand. Sure Timothy Bradley cannot hit that hard, and connect that many solid hits?

Then again, Bradley is quick himself, has a very good chin and he is a very intelligent boxer.

Well, they say Nadal's is the best, but does he have the variety, the precision or the power Federer has on his?

Federer is weak on balls high towards his backhand, but when his backhand is on point it seems to me his backhand is better. He hit a 97mph backhand v Murray, and his backhand slice is just sublime. but obviously Nadal's passing shots on his backhand are just amazing, (possibly helped by the fact that he is right-handed)

Isn't Lampard better than Fabregas at most of the aspects of Football, which in turn doesn't it make him a better player?

I'm not taking age as a factor, I'm just looking over the last 3 EPL seasons. Also saying Fabregas is more important for his team than Lampard is for his isn't a good argument, because honestly, Chelsea have greater quality of players than Arsenal do, so please don't use it.

However, recently I have found myself using the "Nadal" reverse forehand technique during some points, without even thinking about it. Yet I still get the ball in without putting any spin on the ball?

Am I doing something wrong, because I thought the Nadal technique is surely gonna give you a bit of spin?

I go into network settings, easy and then scan. It finds my router, and it shows 100%. I go into it and put in my WEP code, and after that it says search for IP address time out the wep code may be incorrect, but it isnt. Any ideas?
