  • I need to know how to get the music off my ipod touch and into my itunes library?

The computer my ipod touch 2nd gen was synced to crashed. I have been using the wifi on the touch to download music. I have no clue how to get the music off my ipod and into a new library. I was told by Apple support to find a 3rd party application. I tried TuneAid, but it isn't pulling up any of the music I have downloaded straight to the touch. I don't want to loose over 200 songs. What do I need to do??

  • Legal question? Could someone help me out?

I am in a messed up situation and I don't know what to do. I bought a car about a year ago. It was more for my boyfriend than it was for me. I think I only drove it once, but it stayed in my name. Last week my boyfriend traded it off while I was not around. He did not want to tell me beforehand because he knew that I would object to the car he traded for. He traded for another car, several car parts and $500 that was to be paid in 3 installments. My boyfriend went ahead and signed my name to the bill of sale and to the title. I was really mad about it but I got over it. However, the guy was suppose to deliver the car parts already and was suppose to pay $150 today. We already have possession of the other car. I want my money. Plain and simple. I did not sign the title, so I know it is not legally valid. I do not really want to get my boyfriend in trouble so what do I do?

I used that site "Just-Answers" and the lawyer told me to report the car stolen. How insane is that? I don't plan on going to jail for filing a false police report. I was considering either calling the DMV and telling them that I did not sign the title, or trying to figure out how to get put on the title as a lien holder. The bill of sale does state that he has to pay me $500. I was thinking that then I could repo the car.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. And please no "kick the boyfriend to the curb" remarks. He mostly deals with our cars and most of the time I don't have a problem with it. I really just need a legal solution to this problem.

  • Dell Inspiron 1100 laptop - internet hookup?

I am a moron when it comes to computers. This Dell Inspiron 1100 was given to me. A guy I know wants to buy it and I would like to make a little money. However, I have not been able to get it to connect to the internet. I have tried plugging it into my cable modem and it still says that a line in unplugged. It does not have WiFi. Both my other laptops are set up to run on the wireless network. Anyone have any ideas? I don't want to take it to a computer repair store and have them charge me $75 to tell me how to do it.

    Will pick best answer.

  • Dog won't eat. Any ideas?

I just rescued a dog (actually I paid the people $100 to get the dog so it wouldn't die). It is a boxer puppy, and it looks terrible. It is majorly under weight. They said it was fine, but then it started to lose weight rapidly. He is now skin and bones. I brought him home and he is very freindly and active. Not lethargic at all. But he will not eat.....anything. I have tried everything. He has no symptoms of any illness. I am going to take him to the vet tomorrow afternoon (I have a midterm tomorrow that I cannot miss). Does anyone have any idea on what to do until then? I don't have a ton of money to spend on a dog, but I couldn't stand to know he was suffering.

  • Will the cops keep my name out of it??

We were out with some friend's yesterday and their truck's motor blew up. Since they didn't want to spend the money to fix it, they took it out on a back road and burned it to the ground. We are not talking about a piece of junk here. It was a about a $25,000 - $30,000 truck. I can't believe they did it. Now they are sitting around talking about all the stuff they are going to buy with the insurance money. Like a new laptop and parts for his Nova he is restoring. I am pissed. I really want to report them. But, I fear retribution from the guy if he finds out I reported him. Only 5 people know, and I am the only one not involved in the scam in any way. I did not help plan it, nor have I covered anything up.

I know I should probably stay out of it, but they have plenty of money and could have fixed the truck, they just didn't want to come off the money. That is why I am so angry. What should I do?? If I call the cops, will they tell the guy someone called the tip in?

  • What should I do? Ethical Question?

I have had my motor blow up and my transmission go out. I never burned my car to the ground though. I really want to report them. But, I am scared of the guy. He would probably hurt me if he found out I said something. Only 5 people know, and I am the only one not involved in the scam in any way.

  • Allergic to Surgical Screws?

I had jaw surgery when I was a teenager and have several screws in my jaw. I don't know what they are made of, and my surgeon has since retired.

I have been having a lot of health problems in the last 10 years. I have been tested for all kind of auto-immune disorders such as Lupus. They all come back normal.

I have started to think I may be having some kind of reaction to the screws. Within a couple of years of them being put in, I could no longer wear earings (no matter what they were made of). I have had my naval and eye brow pierced. I had to take them both out. I had my ears pierced since I was 5 and never had any problems.

Is it possible that the screws are causing my health problems?

  • What happens at Pre-Trial? Any Lawyers here??

My boyfriend has to go to court tomorrow for his pre-trial. It is for felony assult. Before I get all the "dump this guy" answers, let me explain a little. He was involved in a verbal altercation with a guy he has had problems with in the past. My BF was sitting in his car with it running and his seatbelt on. The other guy jerked the door open attempted to hit my BF and then tried to get the keys out. My BF hit the gas, the guy hit the ground and got "road rash." His girlfriend called the cops and my BF went to jail for it. The cops told him that if he would have called them first, the other guy would have went to jail. Also, the guy involved stabbed my BF in the back 3 years ago. No cops called (they had been drinking), but several witnesses to the incident.

So what can we expect to happen tomorrow? My BF has already been given a court-appointed attorney.

Any thoughts or answers about this situation would be greatly appreciated. Will pick best answer. Thanks!!

  • Rental house - Landlord problem?

My boyfriend and I are currenty renting a house. For the most part, everything is fine. However, we have a horrible time getting our landlord to do any needed repairs. The roof in the garage leaks so badly, all my boyfriend's tools are rusting. When it rains waters poors through that section of the roof. You would literaly get soaked if you were standing anywhere in the garage. A few weeks ago we had major storms come through. Half of an oak tree fell in our driveway. Another huge limb is hanging precariously from another tree and one limb is about to punch through the garage. The landlord was out of town when it happened, so at our own cost, we removed the tree that was blocking the driveway, since we couldn't get our cars out. I informed her 1 1/2 week ago about this situation. The one limb will have to be taken down by a professional or it will crash into the house. I mentioned the leaking garage to her over a month ago. We do want to keep renting the house.

  • Attorney client privilege - Attorneys please answer!!?

My boyfriend has to go to court next week and he has a court appointed attorney. My boyfriend has explicitly given his permission for his attorney to talk to me about any aspect of the case. However, the jerk lawyer won't even let me call and set up appointments. My boyfriend just started a new job and will get into trouble if he is caught making phone calls.

I guess my question is....does priviege even come into play once my boyfriend waived the right to it?

  • Court Appointed Attorney Problem?

My boyfriend's court appointed attorney is a total jerk. He wants us to pay him....even though he is court appointed. He as insinuated that we will have a better outcome if we retain him ourselves and he is no longer court appointed. Is this not completely unethical? He also wanted to know our education levels before the meeting. When he found out that I have a college education and my boyfriend did not finish high school, he would not allow me to be in the room during the meeting even though my boyfriend requested that I be there. What should we do?

  • Torn muscle in ankle?

I have a huge painful knot on the inside of my ankle. Ruffly the size of a golf ball. My doc says it is a torn muscle. It has been there since the beginning of October. Should I be concerned about this? It hurts and throbs all the time.
