  • Can I play US PS3 games in Australia WITH Australian players?

I know most PS3 games are not region locked and I can play US games on AU PS3 or AU games on US PS3. My question is, if I am playing a US game INSIDE Australia, will I be able to play against Australian players in online multiplayer? I've heard that US games would be locked to the US PSN. Does that mean I would only be able to play against US players and be forced to use US servers from Australia, which means slower connection?

  • What kind of rim does my bike have?

Hello, I'm trying to get some rim skin to change the color of my bicycle's rims, but I'm not sure what size rims I have. I looked at the website I bought the bike from but it doesn't say it in terms of "Deep V, 700c (30mm)" or something like that. But that's what I need in order to match my rim to the rim skins I want to buy as that's what they are listed under.

So can someone please translate my bike's specs into terms like "Super Deep V - 700c (43mm)"?

This is the page to the bike that I have: http://www.cellbikes.com.au/CELL-Fixie-Bike-Fixed-...

    Thanks so much in advance!

  • Samsung Vibrant, T-Mobile, factory reset question.?

If I reset my phone to factory conditions, what will happen to the OTA update that supposedly fixed the GPS problem among other things? Will the update be automatically downloaded to my phone again after the reset? And what about things like The Sims game that came with the phone? Will that still be on the phone after the reset?

I shouldn't need to worry about the included Avatar movie right, since it's on the SD card?

    Thanks

  • Should I buy an external hard drive during holiday shopping?

I am planning on getting a new laptop around next summer and an external, USB-powered hard drive to go along with it. But should I get the hard drive during the upcoming holiday shopping season or wait until around June? Would the price of the same hard drive be lower next summer than it would be this holiday season? Or would the price be about the same either way? Anyone know about any trends regarding the pricing of external hard drives?

    Thanks

  • Fantasy Soccer Question?

Is there a fantasy soccer league where you can have players from every major league in the world instead of just one league? There are leagues for Premier League, Liga, Series A, etc separately, but none that has players from all over!

  • How are soccer cleats different from football cleats?

So what are the differences between the cleats for the two sports? Only considering grass as a playing surface. And if I want to get a pair to play both sports in, which type would be better suited for that?

And are there any big differences to the brands of cleats? Do Nike cleats feel better than Adidas cleats, etc?

    Thanks

  • Not receiving new emails on Samsung Vibrant?

So I just got a Samsung Vibrant, which is a great phone, but the email system doesn't get my new email sometimes. It would only sometimes act according to the schedule I set it, but most of the time it doesn't retrieve new email at all. I would have to do it manually. And that doesn't even work most of the time for my hotmail account for some reason. And in my email overview screen it would keep having a 1 in my hotmail account indicating there's a new email even though there isn't one.

Anyone else having this problem and/or know a solution to it?

    Thanks

  • Is ING Direct safe to work with?

Hi, I am thinking about transferring my funds to ING Direct and I was wondering if anyone has had experience with them and can tell me what they are like. I have never dealt with virtual banking before and my biggest question is, how safe is it? And how is ING doing as a whole? I've read some reports and they all recommend ING as a buy but I haven't found any in-depth analysis yet. Are there really no fees whatsoever and no minimum balance requirement like its website says? I am thinking about opening an Orange Savings Account with them.

    Thanks

  • I have some questions about an Android phone?

Hi, so I am thinking of getting a Samsung Vibrant when it comes out next week and I just have a few questions regarding the Android system it runs on.

    1. Can Android run Chrome as its browser? Or are there faster browsers? If so, which one is the fastest or the highest quality?

    2. Does Android have an unified inbox like the iPhone 4? And I can link my hotmail account to it right? I don't know what all those IMOP or whatever are. :p

    3. Can I transfer AVI and MP3 files directly to the phone and play them without converting them?

    4. And are there any good and free comic book readers for Android that can read cbr and cbz files?

    Thanks

  • How do I get a job in Netherlands?

Hi, I am currently trying to find employment in the Netherlands because I really like the country and want to move there but I have had no luck so far in finding an employer willing to sponsor me. So does anybody know of any better ways or whatnot to finding a job in the Netherlands? So far I've been looking through job boards and applying from there, I've also sent in several prospective applications directly to the companies. And I am a US citizen if that helps.

    Thanks

  • How is T-Mobile's coverage in the Bay Area?

So I am thinking of switching over to T-Mobile in a month or two and wanted to find out how good their coverage is in the San Francisco Bay Area. Anybody willing to share their experience? I live in the South Bay region if that helps. And what about T-Mobile's coverage in most of the major cities? Such as NYC, LA, DC, etc? Or transportation ports like Minneapolis and Atlanta?

    Thanks

  • Any upcoming high-res smartphones?

So the standard resolution among smartphones seems to be 800x480 right now, with iPhone 4 being the exception with 960x640. Are there going to be any new phones by the end of the year that has a resolution greater than 800x480? Or in the beginning of 2011?

    Thanks

  • So, a cliche question, she said I am 'too nice'?

Hmm, so my ex broke up with me a few weeks ago but we remained friends and still talked, but recently she told me that I was too nice to her and that made her feel guilty about the relationship and that's why she ended it. She also said that she wanted there to be more tension between us and that I would be mad at her more. But I just can't seem to do that, she has that calming influence over me when I look at her. So my question is, like a lot of other guys out there, am I really too nice of a guy? Is the problem with me or with her? How can I change myself so I don't get told 'you are too nice' again? I know the common answer is to not change myself at all and to wait for a woman who likes me for me, but I am really cynical about that happening right now because this seems to be an issue with men all over the world. Nice guys really do finish last in the real world.

And should I let her know how I am feeling right now? Should I let her know, thanks to her, I probably won't be as nice to any women ever again? Should I say something just to make her mad like asking for her sister's phone number or something?

And how do I start dating again? I literally do not know how since it's been so long. How do I not have this cycle repeated? Should I not open doors for women any more? Should I just be a jerk from the beginning?

Sorry for the rant but I really need some answers here.

Oh and I've been pretty much the same way since we first started dating, I don't think I've changed at all during our relationship.

  • Can someone clarify 4G for me please?

Sooo, I just read a pretty legit looking article, http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/38002805/ns/technology... saying that the iPhone is going to be released on Verizon's network in January when they plan to start letting consumers use their 4G network.

That got me thinking, what is the 4G network? What kind of compatibility would it have across countries? Are we still going to have disparities among nations like we have right now with CDMA and GSM networks? I like to do a lot of traveling to Europe and I am hoping that I would be able to use a 4G phone I buy from the US in Europe. And are 4G and LTE the same thing? I read that LTE is a pre-4G technology but then they keep referring to AT&T and Verizon's new networks as LTE. And is T-Mobile going to use their own 4G/LTE network? Would phones in the US be able to work on all four of the major networks once the new technology is established?

Thanks in advance for the answers.

  • Can factory unlocked iPhones update?

So I figured iPhones unlocked via hacks probably cannot update when Apple releases the updates right? But can a factory unlocked iPhone bought in another country download and update Apple's patches here in the US without any problems?

  • Using iPhone 4 on T-Mobile?

So I've decided that I'll probably buy a factory unlocked iPhone 4 when it comes out and use it with T-Mobile, but I just have a few questions that I hope you guys have the answers for.

I heard the iPhone would only be able to use EDGE with T-Mobile, is that true? And is EDGE faster or slower than what the iPhone would use on AT&T? Is it even a noticeable difference? And I would be able to use all the features on the iPhone with T-Mobile right? Things like the App Store would still be available to me?

And last but not least, are they going to sell factory unlocked iPhones in the US? I see in the fine print on the Apple Store that iPhones as gifts would cause $599(16gb) and $699(32gb), but it also says it would be attached to AT&T. What would be the point of paying full retail for an iPhone if it's still stuck to AT&T?

    Thanks

Is there any information regarding this? Would Apple ever make an iPhone that supports both GSM and CDMA networks like Blackberry Tour does?

  • Is AT&T my only choice?

Hi, so I am planning to move to Europe sometime in the future, pending work status/permit, and my question is: is AT&T my only choice of cellphone provider in the US right now? I read that most of the world uses GSM and that AT&T is one of a few that uses GSM in the US. By that logic, it seems I would have to settle for AT&T if I want to take my phone with me to Europe in the future and use it there, correct? I know it would depend on when exactly I would move, but I really don't know about that yet. I suppose I could get a phone in Europe but I am unsure if they sell iPhones with a cell plan like they do here, and I really want the new iPhone 4. :p

Speaking of which, does anyone know how much it would cost to unlock an iPhone if I'm just visiting Europe for a month or two? And would I still be able to access all the regular features and services with the iPhone on AT&T after I come back from my trip if it's been unlocked?

And is AT&T's service really as bad as people around the web seem to be saying? I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and would likely only travel across the larger cities within the US like New York, Chicago, DC, etc. if that helps my question a bit.

Hopefully that made sense and wasn't very confusing. Thanks in advance.

  • Would switching to a wireless router with higher bandwidth increase my speed?

Multiple computers in my house use the wireless connection and one of the computers is constantly downloading data, so would switching to a wireless router with more bandwidth, like a N router (currently using a G router), increase my wireless internet speed/improve wireless connection stability for my laptop and PS3?

    Thanks
