If you have a medical emergency that you can't afford - rather than let your animal suffer because you can't help it, consider turning it over to a rescue group that can help, sell what ever you need too in order to pay the vet bill, or check one of the medical assistance links here that are listed by the state: http://www.humanesociety.org/animals/resources/tips/trouble_affording_pet.html PLEASE what ever you do, don't let your animal suffer...it's your responsibility to take care of your pets and sometimes that means getting them to a vet even if you can't afford it. If you can't afford to treat them ... you can't afford to keep them! Due to trolls following me I have had to block my answers and questions - feel free to add me as a contact and I will do the same if you are of the same opinion as I am to abuse and ignorance.
