  • Soreness when exercising....?

I am working out with a personal trainer and I am noticing I am not as sore after my workouts. I'm trying to figure out if it is a good thing. Should I be somewhat sore after a workout? Is it a good thing to be sore after working out? I would appreciate any information you can give me.

  • How do I know if having a septoplasty would be right the move?

I have alot of pressure/swelling in my sinuses and I was wondering if having a septoplasty to fix a deviated septum would actually help? The ENT I saw suggested havint the septoplasty, but I am not seeing how fixing the deviated septum will help with the discomfort I am having in my face and ears from sinus pressure. Also would that help reduce the number of sinus infections that I have?

Aside from those questions, I was wondering how the septoplasty is done. You aren't actually awake when they do the surgery right? Does an ENT do the surgery or a general surgeon? How much pain are you in after the surgery and how long until you are back to being able to do what you want to do. What do they give you for the pain - if you are in pain? As you can see, I have several questions about this procedure, so I would appreciate any help you can give.

  • Questions about OCS/OTS?

I have thought of joining the military, but not sure if it would be a good idea for me or not. I wanted to at 18, but I knew my parents wouldn't agree with me on it. And before you respond to that last statement --- I know I was old enough to do it on my own but I was raised to respect my elders, so I wouldn't have done it against their wishes.

I am now older and have a college degree in accounting and business management. The only thing is I seem to have some right shoulder and low back pain. I have been to an orthopedic and they didn't find anything wrong. It isn't something I can't deal with --- I work out 3 times or more a week. I just wondered if that would be something that would keep me out of OCS/OTS. What kind of MOS would I likely have with the majors that I graduated with? Thanks for the help.

  • Questions about septoplasty?

I am trying to find out more information from people who have had a septoplasty done. My ENT suggested that I have a septoplasty done because I have sinus infections and the medicines don't seem to help much. I am trying to find out how painful a septoplasty is. Also How long after a septoplasty until you can return to normal activities(i.e: going to the gym, etc)? How long did you end up out of work or school after having surgery? Did the surgery help you and what kind of effects did you have after surgery. I am trying to find the good and the bad of having this surgery, so when the time comes for me to make this decision --- I can make an informed decision.
