Hey, so for a summer assignment I have to read a book. Simple. The problem is, idk why now everytime I try to reas a book I start panicing that I might not understand it, that it will be to hard, etc. so that leads me to NOT undersant the book. I've read things like The Catcher in the Rye and I understood it perfectly. For this assigment I tried the Great Gatsby but I didn't understand, next I tried the Lord of the Flies which I'm having trouble with. (I don't like reading things like John Green, I like classics better). And everytime I dont understand I just get annoyed and stop reading.

What can I do?!?!?!

P.S: I'm a 14 yr old freshman

Hi so I've been bffs with this girl for three years now. Lately she has been acting weird, she used to laugh at everything, she had a great sense of humor and she was quite childish. Hi so I'm very good at soccer yet this year they put some older girls in our team. somehow, every time I play with them, I play horribly and mess everything up; I guess it's because I'm scared to do something wrong. How can I gain some confidence and start playing like I actually do with the older girls?

Hey so I'm actually a pretty good public speaker, I'm confident, I'm persuasive, and have a powerful voice... but EVERY time I give a speech, I start shaking like crazy, my legs, my hands, everything starts shaking. I try to stop it but it's useless! No matter how many times I practice, or how well I know it, I start shaking. I even sometimes practice in front of the mirror but nothing happens, yet when the actual presentation starts, it changes. Pleas help!!!

Hey, so here s the thing. Basically I ve saved up to buy ONE video game. At first I was convinced that I wanted Two Worlds II, but then I thought about The Witcher II and thought that maybe I should buy that one. What do you guys thing? Hey guys, so as many of you know Metal Gear was released for Mac (woo hoo). I'm trying to buy it but every time I click buy app it says apple needs to verify my billing info, as soon as I fill it out (the billing info that's needed) it says "do you still want to buy Metal Gear" and I put yes but the "need to verify your billing info" keeps coming up. Is it because i don't have enough money or what?

Hi, so lets say my mom is unhappy with everything. My dad, my sister, my brother and I aren't good enough for her. She's so angry all the time and she shouts at me for everything (she has stress marks in her forehead). I cry every day thinking about the day she will be proud of me. And i think about my friend's mom who is always happy and who shows how much she loves her kids. The worst part is, I feel guilty of my mom's sadness. I feel im not good enough and that i could do better. She has never given me a compliment and she works too much too so she never pays attention to us. She blames us for everything, and I'm so sick of it. (She also uses violence when she's angry)

Im not sure sooo... I have very few pain on the apendix area, i dont have naussea or vomiting and no fever, i know i might be over reacting, but im scared!!! So plz help

So a long time ago I used to play this game online so i wanna try it again. Although I don't remember the name! The theme of the game was basically sports, it had the NBA, NFL, etc. I think the name was like "All Stars" or something... You had to make your own avatar and you went up levels like amateur, all star, etc, you could throw a party or stuff. And you could check like the real news of real sports and stuff. Hey so umm i used to have this best friend named Troy but we fought VERY bad and now we cant even look at each other... This has been going on for like 2 years but he was my best friend since i was a baby. He knows everything about me, and whenever i have a problem i wish i could tell him. His other friends hate me even more!! Thats the prob, he hates me cause his friends hate me, and he changed so much and well, i cant let go
