Going to San Francisco, and I'm curious to know whether any skyscrapers in the city offer a public observatory featuring views of the surrounding area!

Currently a teenager in California working a minimum wage job, how much does tax take off from the $8 (during June) and $9 (starting July) that I earned?

So essentially, if you catch a ball in basketball, can you take two steps toward the basketball without dribbling and then shoot? Or is that a travel?

So like if a kid catches the ball behind the 3 Point Line, and decides to take 2 steps in front of the line (without dribbling), and then shoots, is that travelling?

I referee elementary school kids playing basketball, and it seems that whether I call it travelling or make a no-call, I get parents mad at me.

I'm not interested in lying about my age and I couldn't find it on their website.

So I just received my first pair of glasses today and while they improve my vision tenfold, I'd prefer to switch to contacts since I look pretty ridiculous in glasses...

How long should I stick with my glasses until I request contacts? Or is no adjustment time necessary, and I could immediately talk to the optometrist about contacts?

All I know is that you can't get in trouble for driving friends unless you've actually committed a traffic violation.

I know Visa PayWave works by placing the card on the terminal to easily pay, but can I just put my leather wallet (with a PayWave Card inside) over the terminal for it to work?

I'd try it myself, but I don't have a PayWave Card yet.

My friend beat Minesweeper on Expert using a school computer (running Windows XP) and managed to win by setting all of the flags first (location of the mines) without revealing a single square until he set all of the flags.

I'm pretty Shure he cheated (Google "Minesweeper Cheats" if you don't know how to cheat at Minesweeper).

The cheat I think he used is the one that shows a white pixel in the top left corner of your screen if a square is safe to click.

My evidence behind it is that he immediately restarted the computer after "winning" (to get rid of the white pixel), claimed he "missed some" (pixels), and refused to "win" again.

Maybe I should call the Guinness Book of World Records so he can be entered into the Book. -_-
