As I said I am not going to smoke another cigarette in this life time, my last one was last night before I fell asleep. I gave away the cigarettes I had, except for one sealed pack that will be my trophy. But I am in need of some help, can anyone out there help me in this? I know the whole world hates a quitter, but I don't care any more, I can't breathe. I looked through many of the sites that say they can help you stop but they want me to smoke for just a few more days, but I made my decision today and if I do not do it today, I never will. Help? Sorry this is so long but I am frusterated with the helkpers that do not want to help me NOW!

I am a fifty year old man, a few years ago I shaved my head and left my long, full beard. When I would walk down the street people would cross the street to avoid getting too close to me. At first I found it funny, but when I realized how much I must be scaring people I just shaved my face and people did not react the same way. What is it about a man with a shaved head and full beard that freaks people out so much? I have never had people react to me like this before, even when I had hair down to my butt and a full beard, even when My hair is short with a beard it is not as strong a reaction as with the shaved head. I admit that even when I looked in a mirror I would react with fear. I still do not understand why.
