Stomach pain/issues. Help?
I've been having a constricting-type pain in my stomach for the last few days. It's almost like a cramp. It's been very mild when I'm not eating or drinking, but when I do eat or drink, it suddenly intensifies and is very painful and difficult to eat or drink like that. All other bodily functions are completely normal, with no nausea or any other symptoms. When it first happened I figured it was just heartburn or indigestion, but this has been going on for the last 5 or 6 days and hasn't gotten better, if anything, worse. Can anyone tell me what's wrong with me?
2 AnswersPain & Pain Management10 years agoGlove durability help?
I have gone through way too many snowboarding gloves. I always rip them along the seams, either at the tips of the fingers or at the seam between the thumb and palm. I just figured I'll have to get new gloves every so often, but after I got a brand new pair and ripped them on the first day after doing a grab, I knew that there has to be SOME solution out there.
So what's the most durable glove out there? Also, if there's a durable glove that's warm at the same time, that would be great, too. I don't really care that much if it's a pipe glove or not, because with normal gloves I haven't had too many slipping problems, I just want a glove that's durable and warm. Thanks for your time.
1 AnswerSnowboarding1 decade agonew board, do I need to detune?
I got a 2010 K2 WWW Rocker at the end of the season last year, so I haven't gotten to use it yet. The mountain I usually ride on is opening at the end of this week, so the park may not even be open yet. But when the park does open, how beneficial would it be for me to detune the edges on my new board?
1 AnswerSnowboarding1 decade agoJon Kitna or Mark Sanchez?
I know neither are a great option, but I really need to pick one of them. I had Sanchez as my bench QB, with Romo as my starter, so I had to pick up Kitna.
So which one should I start?

Who should I start? The Cardinals' defense will have a great game against the Rams, but do you guys think the Jets' defense will put up more points?
2 AnswersFantasy Sports1 decade agoLeg workout recovery?
This didn't seem to work the first time, but if it did, sorry that I posted it twice. Anyway, I'm planning on doing a leg workout today, involving squats, leg extensions, leg curls, and calf raises. I'm doing 3 sets of 8-10 reps of each exercise. I have a football combine in 5 days, and I want to make sure that my legs are fully recovered so I can do my 40 yard dash to my full potential. Is 4-5 days enough time to recover?

1 AnswerDiet & Fitness1 decade agoWhat color jacket would go best with tan snowpants?
I have thought about white, but it seems like too many people have a white jacket. I have also thought about purple, but I'm not entirely sure. Suggestions would be great. If you know of a specific jacket, then that would be good, and if you know of a jacket with a cool design then that would be nice too.
6 AnswersSnowboarding1 decade agobinding screws question?
I just bought a K2 WWW Rocker, but I have old Burton bindings, the 3x3 kind. Since I have the 3x3 base plate right now, I only have 3 screws per binding. Is it a bad idea to do flex tests and presses inside with only 3 screws per binding? Or would it be okay because I'm not moving, just doing stationary presses?
2 AnswersSnowboarding1 decade agoWhat kind of snowboard should I get?
I'm pretty experienced, I've ridden for about 4 years now, and I'm getting serious in the park. I do rails and boxes, but right now, I'm not too fond of jumps. Last season, the most difficult thing I could do is boardslide rails, but that was because I have an incredibly stiff snowboard right now, so it was impossible to press on. Next season, I want a much more flexible board to be able to press and butter well. Also, I plan on starting to do big jumps next season.
I'm about 155 lbs and 5'11 so I'm guessing my size would be between 156-159 for a park board, and I wear a size 11.5 boot, so I want to get a wide board. I want a very flexible board that is still stable that is under $400. Can anyone tell me about a board that fits this criteria? Also, at my local ski shop there is a Capita Green Machine for $399 and I'm seriously thinking about getting it, but it isn't a wide board. Would that board be good for me, and also, could I ride a non-wide board with a size 11.5 boot?
5 AnswersSnowboarding1 decade agoShould I play fullback or tight end?
Okay, I'm torn between fullback and tight end. I'm 14 (going into my freshman year of high school) and I'm a little over 5'10 and 150 lbs. Now, I have good hands, but you see, I'm fast but not quick. Like I'm not as fast as the really fast kids when I start running, but I have a high top speed. But I can run kids over, which is an upside. I was thinking about fullback because last year in junior league, I had to be a guard on offense because I was like 3 pounds over the ball carrying weight limit. And as a guard, I had to pull (which was basically lead blocking for our team because our fullback was tiny) and I could really crack defensive ends, and I was really good at lead blocking, and my coach really praised me for that. And since fullbacks are usually the big running backs who aren't quite as fast as the halfback, but usually stronger, and they lead block all the time, I figured fullback would be perfect for me! Problem is that I'm afraid I may be too tall to be a fullback, or, considering how big I am compared to the other freshman (I'm not fat, I'm just tall and muscular) I am also afraid I might be put on the line again. So if my coaches let me be a skill position, should I be a fullback or a tight end?
