i was riding my sportbike last night and this lady was riding on my tail. so i was going slow to get her off of me, 40 in a 55. she would slow down and the speed up very rapidly and slam on her brakes right as she was about to hit me and hings such as this. the only people to see this were her, me, and another biker i was riding with. no police, no passengers in her car, no passing vehicles. when i got home apparently she called 911 because a police officer whipped in after i gt home and arrested me. i was charged with reckless driving and aggressive driving. is this complete crap?

1. When in neutral, the engine makes this slight ticking sound, but doesn't when riding or when the clutch is in, why? What's it mean?

2. The exhaust has been back firing a bit, why?

3. When in first gear, it feels like its lugging to get to speed, then suddenly gets a boost of speed, why?

i feel cruisers and sportbikes are held to a different standard as to protection goes, so state your bike and what you wear when you ride. and do you feel safe?

full face helmet, bilt leather jacket and gloves with padding and carbon fiber knuckles, jeans, running shoes. i feel completely safe. only a few times have i gone out (to the store and back or so) in a t shirt and pants.
