  • My dad has control over absolutely EVERYTHING in my life.?

I am a soon-to-be 16 year old girl in high school. About 5 months ago, I sort of liked this guy who's a junior in my high school and we hung out and texted a lot. My step-dad found out and proceeded to ground me for 2 months because I'm not allowed to date. Since then, I have been banned from talking to/seeing/texting/calling this guy and my dad reads all of my text message conversations with everyone, everyday, and says I'm not allowed to delete any texts. He has a GPS on my phone and frequently tracks where I go, when I'm already texting where exactly that I'm going, who I'm going with, when I leave a place and arrive at the next one, and I'm home EXACTLY on time. If I'm late 5 minutes, I'm grounded. He knows the passwords to every online account I have, and checks my email to see if I change passwords/make new accounts. He also reads all of my tweets/facebookmessages. He permanently took away my Tumblr (a blogging account). If I stay up past 11 pm doing my homework, I'm grounded. I'm very active and have been losing a little bit of extra weight lately, and he now makes me weigh myself infront of him frequently and he controls my portions to make sure that I'm not starving myself, which he's convinced of. My mom gets no say in my discipline. It's his way or the highway. Let me just say, I attend the top high school in Chicago and have amazing grades. I don't have the desire to do drugs/alcohol/be promiscuous. All I want is another opinion. Isn't he going too far?

  • Murder versus self-defense?

This is for a school project..

Let's say that two non-violent gang boys are talking a walk. then a rival gang comes out of nowhere and takes Boy A to a fountain and starts to drown him. Then, because he is so afraid, Boy B pulls out his knife. He stabs the rival gang member that is drowning his friend. The antagonist dies. The rest of the rival gang scatters. Boy A and B survive. Should Boy B be tried for murder, or pardoned on an act of self defense?? Please help?!?!
