I have been married for past 16 yrs and separated for past 3 months. I have taken this step after a lot of courage as I m fighting this battle on my own. I was in a physically, mentally & verbally abusive marriage. Had broken limbs, spat upon, ridiculed in public and abused with the choicest bad language I ever heard, I was being cheated on and yet I foolishly continued thinking that somebody I could change the man and we would have a dream life. Little did I realize that I was living with a total control freak. I finally walked out on him and now he tries to lure me back in his life with mesmerizing talks, flower deliveries, a brand new car delivered and what not. He's trying to convince me that he has changed and trying to prove his love by showering me with attention and gifts. I have told him off already (1000th time) but he's not one to easily give up. Please can you help me with solutions which are as manipulative as his tactics. He just cant get it straight and I m fed up playing Ms. Polite & Ms. Nice. Any wicked suggestions?
