  • Tight feeling in chest? Starting to get anxious. ?

Hi, I have this tight mild pain on the left side of my chest. It's not too bad but is getting annoying as i've had it for a few days.

A few months ago i had a constant headache for about 10 days, which i put down to anxiety because it went away.

I always get worried about stuff like this as my mum has a history of brain issues (she has a brain haemorrhage when i was born) and my grandad died of a heart attack.

What could be the problem with my chest?

  • How to relieve tension headache I've had for a week!?

I've had a tension headache for a week now and have seen my GP twice. First they told me to see an optician and to come back to them. My eyes were fine so ruled out that they are caused by eye strain etc. The gp said this morning that he wasn't concerned and i should relax and carry on life as normal as i have been worried and very anxious for the last few days. I just want to get rid of this headache now, it feels like my head is in a vice :/ How do you recommend relieving it?

  • Man Utd Chants.? Anyone know this one???!!!?

I keep hearing a chant at old Trafford when I'm at the games but can't find it online and would like to know what it is, I think it's in the same tune as 'Jip jaap stam is a big dutch man' and ends with a big 'WE DO'.

Any ideas??? (and Liverpool or city fans don't bother answering as I'll just laugh as you have less league titles so **** off)

  • Constant headache for 5 days..Help!?

I'm only 16 and have had this annoying but not severe headache for 5 days now and pain killers do not do much at all. I've tried different types to get rid of it (paracetamol, sinus tablets etc) and nothing really. It's irritating me now and I'm going to book to see my gp on Monday. What do you think it could be??? Thanks.

It's behind my forehead btw and not as painful as a normal headache but not far off.

  • Constant Mild Headache...only 16 :S?

Hi, for the last 2 days i've had a constant headache and painkillers arn't making much difference. Its not a severe headache at all but just annoying. As i'm only 16 and in sixth form and doing much harder work than i've ever done before, could this be stress related or something else? I dont feel stressed i think.

  • Phimosis, stretching and retraction Help!?

Hi, i've had Phimosis all my life and have never been able to retract my foreskin fully either erect or flaccid. I have stretched a lot over the last few weeks and can pull back quite a bit now without pain. I stretch by finding the phimotic ring (the small tight ring of skin in the inner foreskin) then stretching outwards with two fingers for 10mins, once a day maybe twice.

How will i know when i should retract? obviously i do not want to damage my foreskin or get paraphimosis. Sometimes i know that if i kept pulling it would retract fully but having this phimotic ring puts me off as i still think it is too tight and might not return :/ I know i can overcome paraphimosis by pressing down on my glands but that would be soo painful due to the sensitivity. I'm 16 btw, pretty much fully developed

  • University Fees and Paying them back!?

Right, i'm starting A levels in september and am thinking that i would like to study medicine at University. Anyway, lets say i get a job when i've got all my degrees etc. How much do you have to pay back each year for your university loan? And also how much do doctors etc have to pay back in income tax?? Is the net salary after annual fee's and income tax not that great compared to what it would be like if i was a student now paying (3k per annum). How on earth can the torys/lib dems think that this is beneficial to students?

  • My A level Options? What do you think!?

    I'm taking:

    Biology

    Chemistry

    Maths (stats)

    Geography

I'm planning on dropping Geography after a year and focus on the other three as i want to try and get into Medical school.

Is Maths Stats a more beneficial option for Medicine than Maths Mechanics?

Also, how hard are my subjects, how much time and effort is needed??
