Mr. E. Mann

Recently, the Republican party defeated a bill in the house which would have provided free medical care to 9/11 first responders who became sick as a result of inhaling the toxins that were in the air as a result of the twin towers collapsing. I found this to be very out of character for Republicans, who usually try to cast themselves as the patriotic party, who would support the heroes that sacrificed so much on that day. So I'd like to ask the people on here if they support the Republican vote on this measure? If you do support it, how do you justify it? Personally, I think it was a despicable move by the Republicans, and I hope it backfires on them in the coming election cycle.
