I've been "dating" this girl for the last several months. We've known each other for a long time and have dated before. We are both in a spot in our lives where we're both going through things and its nice to have a companion, you know. I really care about this girl, but it's become obvious to me that we aren't "meant for each other". I don't necessarily want to not see her, seeing her makes me feel like I have someone to talk to and such.

Anyhow so before I explain more, let me say that my intentions with this girl are solely romantic. That being said, since I know she's not for me, we were talking and I said well since I know you're not the one for me... There will be an end someday obviously, especially since right now we aren't even like open to other people about us. So... I say that and she freaks out saying that she feels like she's losing her best friend and all kinds of stuff like that...

So now... I've come to the realization what I thought was a close romantic relationship... She interpreted as "best friends with benefits"... I don't really want to hurt her so should I just end it... Like what do you do when someone thinks their boyfriend is their best friend...

I know somehow it deals with turning it into xln(2)=ln(3-x). I don't know how to solve it after that.

I took the GRE and scored 157 on verbal and 160 on quantitative. Converting them to the old score they are 560 verbal and 760 quantitative. Are these scores good? What are Universities looking for is what I really want to know... not as easy to guage where I'm at compared to ACT.

I have a 2009 Honda Civic 1.8L. Occasionally when I go to start it up it fails on the first try. I can never remember if I let it prime the pump first, on the second try I always sit there for the second that it takes the fuel pump to kick on.

This happens maybe once a month that it will fail on the first start. The second time I try it, it just barely gets there and sounds a little rough for 3-4 seconds before settling to idle around 600 rpm.

Today a similar thing happened except I could hear a noise coming from the back while the car was running. Obviously I assume it was the fuel pump going. My gas tank was only about 50 miles off of full. I'll have to admit I ran it close to empty the time before.

So my question is.... is there probably a problem with the fuel pickup/ a different issue/ or me just not letting the fuel pump prime first.

An aside note, it seems to really occur around the months of November and March... is it caused possibly because of the summer/winter fuel changeover?

I'm looking to start applying to grad schools to go into statistics, industrial engineering, or some sort of quantitative analytics.

I have a BS in Business Administration from a well known university and a very good college. I specialized in accounting and operations management. I finished with a 3.5 GPA. I'm taking the GRE at the end of the month.

I want to know if it is a big issue that I have a degree in business and not in mathematics/engineering? My undergrad program had a quantitative focus, however the highest calculus I had to take was intergral and I'm rusty (at best) at it.

I'm looking to watch a good movie that screws with your head and has an interesting concept. The kind of movie I'm looking for would be like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Game, Inception, Shutter Island, Memento... something like that. Looking for a good mindf*ck.

I was working on something and my computer screen suddenly went black like it was going to sleep or something. There was power to it as it was lit up. I tried to restart it to see if it would do something and no BIOS shows up or anything and it just sits there.... am I looking at a fried motherboard or is there a possibility RAM came loose or something.... It is a laptop so I'm thinking it is pretty much dead.

I have this weird thing where I like to tell people lies about what I do even though it isn't necessarily anything to be ashamed about. I'm in college so I'm constantly surrounded by friends and roommates so I always tell them lies when I get away. I'm sort of going through depression so I do a lot of things that make me happy such as go to church (secretly on different days and different times), I also take a lot of trips to stores I like just to look around and tell people I was at class, I also try a lot of different things such as rock climbing without people's knowledge. I get this odd high off people having no idea what I'm doing. So, I was just wondering if anyone has ever felt this way or even if you haven't what are some things that you have done in secret?

I think I pretty much got a free month of cable. I pay by phone and my account summary says that I paid twice the amount but my bank account says I only paid once. They aren't going to find out or anything are they... that'd suck if I had to pay it next month.

I've been told you guys have better toilets than us and that there are "black market" toilets people have smuggled into the US. I'm tired of having to flush 5-7 times to no avail in trying to prevent a clog. So my question is, is it true that your toilets are better than ours?

I'm tired of my toilet clogging every dang time.

I absolutely dread reading and replying to emails to a point where I think it is unhealthy. Has anyone else been feeling this?

I wish I were born before computers because I get that stressed out over trying to get my email box in line.

I drive a '09 Civic and with all the issues related to drive by wire and braking by wire I'm concerned about it.

I know Toyota has had problems with their drive by wire throttling systems and Toyota and Ford have had issues with hybrid braking by wire. Is this a case of GM getting lucky by staying behind the curve?

Herpes has a stigma about it but from what I have read most people actually have HSV1 in their systems already. What I'm saying are you supposed to treat a cold sore on your lip as if it were like an STD, even though it is really on the equivalent to a wart on your finger and not really a sexual disease? I know plenty of people have cold sores but no one really talks about the protocol of telling someone like they do when you have like HSV2 or genital warts or something.

I know you're not supposed to kiss when you have a cold sore but I'm talking about after it clears and everything.

I saw an ad that says this.... what is the catch? It cannot be true.

I keep getting reoccuring "zits on the upper part of my lip, actually on the normal skin usually above my lip. I previously had mild/moderate acne and it has gotten better to a mild case (relatively normal). What are some signs that this might be a cold sore vs. being acne? I feel like it is acne because it usually appears as a clogged pore (until I irritate it). I'm fairly convinced it is acne/ I have no reason not to believe it but how do I know if it is actually a cold sore?

I'm currently an accounting major in college and am looking for something to try and help my resume a bit. Do you think becoming a notary public will help my resume and how do I become a notary public?
