  • Morning sickness but I am not pregnant?

I have been getting very sick in the mornings when I wake up. Within twenty minutes of waking I get nauseous, dizzy, and feel like I'm going to pass/out and/or throw up. I thought maybe dehydrated but even lots of water in the morning doesn't help Or eating a healthy breakfast.

This lasts until early to late afternoon. I know I am not pregnant, there is no chance of it. But people at work keep asking me if I am because of how I have been feeling. The last time I was having sex I was on the depo shot and I am now back on my old birth control, not sure if that could be causing it.

I've also been getting moderate pain near my liver/gallbladder. Lately I've been really stressed which I've wondered could be making me sick. I seem to feel worst the days I work.

    Has anyone experienced this?

  • How to eat healthy when you are around McDonald's all day?

I work at McDonald's. I used to have absolutely no problem choosing to eat healthy and commit to it. But I swear being around food 8 hours a day makes me hungry and crave it. It's convenient which makes trying to keep my motivation to bring food into work hard to keep up. I really need to get in better shape. I had mono and lost quite a bit of muscle tone and endurance and want to get back to my normal self. But I'm having such a hard time. How do I combat craving McDonald's AKA artificial crack as I call it? I feel like working out isn't going to help much when I pumping artificial crap into my body.

  • Managing hair in a super dry climate?

I had to move from Seattle to Utah and my hair hates the "hard" water and super dry air. It gets tangled and is hard to brush. The ends are brittle and the texture is more coarse now. Because of it being hard to brush through I am getting more breakage than usual. At the roots there really isn't any movement or bounce, my hair feels like stuck to my head, almost dirty even when I have just watched it. What can I do to get my hair back to being manageable and smooth feeling when I straighten it? Any products that will help? Any help/tips appreciated!

  • Mononucleosis and dehydration?

Yesterday I spent 6 hours at my local walk-in clinic getting 3 liters of IV fluids and full bloodwork done to find out I have mono. I got the fluids because I was really dehydrated, to the point where my urine was orange because it was so concentrated.

I've been drinking lots of fluids since (Gatorade and water) like my doctor told me but I feel like my body isn't processing fluids right or something. My pee still hasn't gotten to a light yellow/clear color and with the amount of fluids they pumped in me I don't know how that's possible. My mouth still feels pretty dry and I'm getting the dizzy feeling when I stand up.

Anyone know what could be wrong?

  • Love songs about being reunited?

My fiancé has been out of the country since September and tomorrow I am flying out to spend Christmas and New Years with him. What are some love songs about being reunited or just some good songs about being in love?

  • Scratching when anxious?

I have had fairly severe anxiety and depression for the past 5 years. I used to cut but am in recovery from that. The problem is that lately my anxiety has gotten really bad. To the point where tonight I had a panic attack, which I haven't had in over a year now. I took 1mg of klonopin to offset it. But, when it gets that bad I subconsciously scratch the skin on my knuckles/hands. I don't realize it until I have calmed down and see that my knuckles are raw and red. Looks like I punched something pretty bad. Is there any way to try and be aware of this behavior so I can stop doing it?

  • Pelvic pain right before orgasm?

Ever since I started taking birth control pills a month ago I have noticed that right before I orgasm I get a slightly sharp pain. It feels like a mild cramp I would get while on my period and is also in the same place. The pain doesn't last but it sure makes things less enjoyable. Could my birth control have caused this somehow?

I am going to see my doctor soon but I wanted to see if anyone here has experienced this.

  • Should I get him a 6mm or 8mm wedding band?

    I know it's just a 2mm difference but I'm debating.

His ring size is an 11 if that helps.

  • Backing up my itunes library?

I just bought a MacBook Pro and it will be coming in the mail in the next few days. Most of my Itunes is downloads, not purchases from the Itunes store or ripped from my own CDs so the files are not in the Itunes folder on my computer. So, if I backed up the way I know how to do it I would not be keeping all of the downloads and would have to re-import them. Is there any way to avoid this?

  • Cigarette burn, should I be worried?

Yesterday I got burned by a cigarette on my right forearm. I put ice on it soon after but I'm not sure if I should have it get checked out by my doctor.

Here is a picture of it:

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/80782752@N03/74062762...

The scab is a green/yellowish color around the edges and there is a red "halo" around the burn. In the middle it looks like there is broken blood vessels or something similar. I can tell the damage went through more than just the surface of my skin. It would have a blister if I hadn't been dumb and peeled the burned skin off.

Should I get this checked out or see how it heals?

  • Quitting smoking cigarettes?

I've decided I want to quit smoking. I'm sick of smelling like an ash tray and shaping my social life around whether or not I will be able to smoke where I'm at or who I'm with.

I've decided to go the gum route so I went out and bought the Target brand of Nicorette. I smoke 6-8 cigs a day so I got the 2mg. But, thing is, I want to gradually decrease my cigarettes and then replace them with gum.

    Something like this:

    Week 1 - 3 cigs, 5 pieces of gum

    Week 2 - 2 cigs, 6 pieces of gum

    Week 3 - 1 cig, 7 pieces of gum

Week 4 - 8 pieces of gum, no cigs

And then stop using the gum. Is it completely necessary for me to only chew the gum? I know myself and there is no way I'm going to be able to just chew gum. I need a gradual transition. I really do want to quit but I know it's going to be hard for me.

    Any tips would be appreciated.

  • Smoked weed for the first time yesterday?

My friends got me to smoke weed with them yesterday. I smoke hookah a lot and cigarettes every once in a while. I took 3 huge hits from their bong and I got so high I was paranoid. I thought I was dead and oh my gosh, I can't even explain how messed up I felt. Then I ate a ton of food but I don't really remember everything. Is this ok?

I still feel weird today. Like I feel alive again but I'm still really out of it. I just want to sleep. Anything I can do to help this?

  • Using Dermablend to cover scars?

I have a pretty bad patch of scars from past cutting on my shoulder. Some of them are a bit raised and I would like to cover them when I go to prom this year.

Has anyone used dermablend? I don't want to spend the money on it if it isn't effective. Any other tips would be appreciated.

  • Whiplash from a car accident?

I was in a car accident on Thursday. I hit a car going about 35 or 40mph on the freeway during rush hour. I felt fine after the accident but now I have moderate neck pain at the base of my skull that spreads down into my mid back.

Can I go to the walk-in clinic for treatment? My doctor doesn't work on the weekends and I'm a bit worried about the pain I have. I don't want to have to wait until Monday like my parents are telling me to. My right knee, which I have had problems with in the past, is also sore.

  • Song about letting someone go?

I have to let a friend go. They cut themselves and threaten suicide constantly and I have done all I can to help them. They remind me so much of me which is why I helped in the first place but it has become too much. It's so hard for me to do this but I have to. I can't help them, I've done everything to try and get them help but they won't take it.

Any songs about having to do something like this or seeing a friend lose themselves to addiction and things like that?

  • Do you have to have xbox live to download Netflix?

I want to hook up my xbox to the internet so I can stream Netflix. Do I have to be a member of xbox live to download Netflix? I don't do online gaming or anything. I already pay for an account on Netflix, just instant, nothing in the mail.

  • Deciding not to have kids?

Growing up it had always been pushed in my family to have kids and get married. I'm only 18 right now but I think a lot about the future and the possibility of getting married and/or having kids.

A big part of me doesn't want them because I don't want to pass on family mental health issues like anxiety and depression because I don't think it would be fair to the child. Everyone in my family has mental health issues and I wouldn't want my child to have to deal with such issues because I made them predisposed to have them.

My childhood was pretty bad and it was that way because my parents' childhoods were and the pattern continued with their own kids. I don't want to do that to a kid either, have them screwed up because I couldn't fully recover from what I went through as a kid.

You could also look at having kids as a way to break the pattern in my family but I'm not sure.

If you chose not to have kids, what were your reasons?

  • Drug side effects or something else?

I have been taking 60mg of Cymbalta since December, 2011. It has helped with my severe anxiety and some of my depression but around the same time I started taking it things started changing which I didn't necessarily attribute to the medication but now things seem to be geting worse and I'm not sure if this could be medication related or soemthing else. Cna side effects worsen all of a sudden? I'm only 18 so some of my symptoms are really concerning me.

    Here's what is going on:

    - I feel like I have to pee all the time (it is not a bladder infection or any type of ovarian cyst, I already got checked for anything like that)

    - Anytime I eat I get very nauseous and feel like I am going to throw up/pass out

    - I am nauseous in general most of the time

    - I have lost 30lbs unintentionally

    - At times I get constipated (which is not normal for me) and my stools will be black/tarry

I am talking to my ARNP about this since she prescribes my meds and I am going to the doctor soon but I wanted to see if anyone had experienced anything similar to this.
