Some girl

At work I adopted a Christmas angel, and for those of you unfamiliar with this type of program, they get impoverished youth and you have the chance to adopt them and buy Christmas presents for a child who otherwise would get nothing. I'm very excited about this, but the kid I got is 14 and female, her wish list includes earrings, socks, and art supplies. I need awesome ideas because I'm clueless but I want to give her a Christmas she will never forget. Let the brainstorming commence :)

So, it seems like every country has its major problems, whether its political corruption, government turmoil, economic failure, war, etc. But I never seem to hear these types of things about Canada. What problems do they have?

i have a friend who comes from a very conservative family. she's probably the prettiest girl ive ever seen, and everyone i know would probably say she's the prettiest girl in school. she's very popular, but also one of the nicest people i know. when she found out i was gay i figured she would stop talking to me, because her family is very snobby, but she actually started talking to me more and just picking at me playfully and stuff. no big deal. but gradually she's gotten more and more confusing. like one day she was like "i think im turning lesbian, guys are just not worth it" and she asks me if it ever makes me feel uncomfortable to be with girls, and then the other day she asked how two girls have sex. then she told me she had kissed a girl before, like it was no big deal. is she trying to hint at being bi or am i misinterpreting things?

if i wanted to get braces, only on the top teeth, and my teeth really arent bad just a front gap and kindly crooked, how much do you think they could run me?

I've only worked at one job in my life. I worked at a fast food restaurant called Pal's Sudden Service for 30 days, then got fired. If I didnt list this job, and made it look like id never held a job before, is there any way they can or would find out?

okay, by now, we all know Tina Chen, aka TinaEC. I first was introduced to her through perez hiltons website, and honestly, this girl just can not sing. I'm not making fun of her in that department, cause I'm an awful, horrendous singer myself..But this girl puts vids on myspace and youtube and is convinced she's great, and although its quite obvious she isnt, people still leave her comments like "Tina your beautiful and your singing is like angel's playing sweet music" and etc. etc....you get my point. Did i get left out of some elaborate joke or is there someone seriously who likes her singing? i hate to put it that way but i just gotta know..

Well I have a friend who i'm extremely close with and I like her. I know she likes boys, but i dont know whether she likes girls or not, I cant figure it out. It has been said that she had a crush on one of our lesbian friends in the past, and whenever mention is made about it, she neither confirms or denies that she did, she just laughs and shakes her head. I was really thinking for a while that she was into girls, but all she talked about was guys and she acted totally straight. Then today i made mention of a gay club and how i had been there, but i was going to wait until i turn 18 and get a real ID to go again. She told me she was gonna go club hoppin with me when we turned 18 and i said "well the one ill be going to mostly is a gay club" and she said"..so?" and i told her that she'd be getting hit on by girls and i said "does that not bother you" and she was like "well...no"...she just confuses me and i was wondering what you guys would think if she said that to you

another show used to come n VH1 and i dont remember much about it except claire danes was on it and alanis morissette made cameos on it every now and then, could anyone help me out with a title? or some suggestions

there was a show on VH1 in the 90's and to the best of my remembrance, it played music videos and little facts or funny things about the artists popped up all through the videos. does anyone remember this show and if so what was it called?

i know this may seem insignificant to most, but it just kind of spurns my curiosity...But in the Taylor Swift song, "picture to burn", the lyrics say " So go and tell your friends That I’m obsessive and crazy, That’s fine I’ll tell mine You’re gay"

well, i was listening to a country station today and that song came on, except they had replaced the "thats fine i'll tell mine your gay" with something like "i wonder what they'll say" or "it doesnt matter what they say". so was this because they didnt want the kids to hear the word gay, like its some dirty word, or does it mean that they didnt want gays to be offended? its considered a family-oriented radio station, and its in tennessee, if that has any affect on the censorship.

Well, Monday of this week I was at the park with some friends and we found a soccer ball and started playing soccer. I offered to be goalie and my guy friend , who is like, good at everything and super strong, kicks the ball and it nails me right in the face. I fell backwards and couldnt see for about 10 seconds and even then it was cloudy for about another minute. I also took this ourageous giggling spell after i got hit for about a minute. my head was throbbing and when i stood up i fell right back down. i continued to be dizzy but it wore off totally in about 15 minutes. Tuesday I started having bad headaches and getting really dizzy at times. I just felt bad overall. And every now and then since tuesday ill just get a dizzy spell or a headache spell. I'm guessing these are connected but im not sure whats going on. can anyone explain this?

So my health science teacher shows House sometimes in class, especially if there is a related episode to something we are studying at the time. However, the episodes are always from seasons one and a few from season two. I watched an episode from season 4 the other day, and it caught me off guard cause the aussie guy is gone, the cameron lady is gone, and foreman is the only one left on house's team. can anyone who has been watching tell me what happened (in details) to cameron and the other guy (i think his name was like Chance or something?) cause im very curious
