Okay, I am really good friends with a girl that lives about 40 miles away from me and we really like each other. we had planned to meet up after a few weeks of talking and web-cam chatting, we even arranged to go to a theme park together. all of this suddenly turned sour after her mother had a argument with her about long distance friendship/relationships due to her daughters previous experiences which i knew about. she knows how committed i am and would do anything to be with her, but her parents keep getting in the way. So as expected us meeting up and going out together came to a halt and she decided to call both activities off. about 1 hour later she asked me if I could go see her earlier as she needed a friend so I agreed to meet her for the day in which I will be travelling to do. Now what I would like to know or more so would like advice as to how I may be able to crack her parents bad impression of me, even though its the other guys fault this is happening in the first place. Her mum knows that I will be loyal, respectful and committed to the bone and that I would do anything to make her daughter happy, but it don't seem to phase her.

So any opinions and advice would be very helpful.
