Is it legal for merchants to alter, change, or add 3rd party devices to debit card readers.?

I ask because I encountered a altered card reader at 7 eleven with a clear plastic device inside the chip reader the clerk said it was for testing and to use my card which I did and the next day I my bank sent me a message about $120 worth of fraudulent charges on my account. I have sense reach out to 7 Eleven they tell me the device is for testing purposes to steady the card in the reader but it was tuff to fit my card in and take it out didn't seem natural at all. it seems like they are not being honest with me. If anyone knows the answer to this question please let me know

  • Dose gravity emanate from space?

I apologize if this question was asked before.

My question, is gravity a force that emanates from space were space is a tangible quantitative entity comparable to something like a gas and matter is a tangible quantitative entity comparable to a solid and if we introduce matter

into space mater like a solid would do as we expect and push space aside to occupy a location previously occupied by space, this invasion of space would also do as expected and create a pressure upon matter where the pressure is space trying to reoccupy the local that is now occupied by matter and this pressure of space trying to reoccupy the local that is currently occupied by mater would be gravity?

    sub question

    1. if this is true wouldn't this also mean that anti gravity would result from an implosion of space being drawn inward into itself IE outward force

    2. if this is true it wouldn't this mean that black holes are not pulling space in but are in fact folding space outward upon itself creating the illusion of space folding inward into itself?

    3. if this is true would this mean the expansion of space compared to the space that matter occupies within space will someday come to an equilibrium and the force emanating from space on matter will no longer exerted IE eliminating the force we call gravity all together?

  • What is the best way to make a Visual Basic 8 Tutorial?

I've been working on a project that allows you to move your mouse using your web cam. Most if not all of its elements come from what I learned from various tutorials I found online. I would like to give back.to the online programing community and also share it with everyone.

    See project here: http://youtu.be/JtWUQXFcUII

As you can see there are a lot of elements that go into this project hence I have many questions Please help. How do I create a tutorial that anyone can use to create similar projects on their own? Should I create multiple tutorials? Should I reach out to more experienced programmers for help with conveying the concepts and terminology in the project? Are there groups I can join that can help me develop it into educational tools for students and novice programmers like myself. FYI currently I'm the only one contributing to this project although I have been programing since 1998 but I am not a professional programmer.

    Thanks for your help

  • What is the best way to get backers for my kickstarter project?

Hi my name is Marcus Penny

I invented a system that tracks color and hand movements to move the curser and interact with 3d sprites via your existing webcam. Currently I'm in the process of integrating this software into a 2d/3d web browser/tablet system for pcs and mac's as a fee download.

    My Problem

In order to bring a crisp product to market in a timely fashion I need to hire programmers. So I sought assistance for funding through kick starter. I have gotten a few backers to help out with the bulk of the cost but I'm finding it difficult to get enough to cover all my cost. I believe my problem may be due to none exposure of my campaign to the right audience. My question you is from a technology stand point. what would keep bakers from funding my project? what steps do you recommend I take in order to fund my project successfully? Currently my budget is 2.5 million is this to high for the kick starter community. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I want to give my apologies for the lack of links because I really like to get some helpful answers and not have my question removed. Sorry for that

    Thanks for your time

Should I try to reach out to large companies for support or should I use a better name, currently I call it Mushi. Is my budget too large currently it is 2.5 million. Any tips you may have will be of great value to me.
