I have always been afraid of these things since I was little, and I am 13 now. I will refuse to sleep in a room alone with one of these, and whenever I go to the restroom in a building other than my home I will look for them and plug my ears, hoping that they will not go off. I know that fire sprinklers won't go off without a super high heat, and I'm not really sure why I'm scared of them. Fire alarms and smoke detectors really scare me, not really the sound, but the anticipation and knowing that they could sound at any minute. They look so frightening.

Recently I have been watching videos online of these things to get over my fear, but all that does is make me think and dream about them more. What's weird is that in my dreams I'm not scared of them, they're just... there.

I don't have a fear of fire, but I do often see fire in my dreams.

Now I understand that all of these things are for safety, and I can't avoid any of them. I don't know what I will do when I'm in college or when I live alone and these things are in my room.

Please help me find out why I'm scared of these things and how to get over my fear. I'm afraid that if I don't, the fear will only grow.

I'm trying to bake a frozen pizza, and on the instructions it says to bake 15-16 minutes in a toaster oven set at 450 degrees. The problem is, I don't have a toaster oven, so can I bake the pizza in a regular oven? Also, what do I bake the pizza on?
