I am going home from Uni at Christmas, and need to take my double bass home. The company is First great western and I'm not sure if there will be enough space for it.......I have already booked the ticket and have rung the company but not much information came from it.

I know, it will restrict the aisle a bit, but how strict are they? Will they throw me off?

I am getting the train on Friday from Cardiff to Brighton. I have to change at Reading and Clapham junction.

I have 2 train tickets and a receipt. I have a seated on for Cardiff to Reading, and then the other ticket, which says it is advanced, but the only information on it is the class, the date, the route I'm taking and where from/to. Surely there should be a time on the ticket?

At the top of the advanced ticket it says "only valid with reservation" and "Issued as 2 coupons"

But what does this mean?

On my account online it says reservation not requested for my other 2 journeys.

I'm worried about the "Only valid with reservation" part. Is it just my receipt that I need with it? That's all I have.

As you can tell, I don't really get trains and am pretty scared

So Me and a friend are wanting to go to one of the concerts. It's a really good one but we have never been to one before and don't know whats the best time to queue at. We were thinking of getting there for midday/early afternoon, is this too late. I think it will be a popular concert.

What time should we get there to queue for the tickets? Morning? Or is early afternoon ok?

I am looking to apply in September to some universities to study music performance

1) Does anyone know any good Universities and music colleges that are good music performance courses

2) Should I start writing my personal Statement now in June before I apply or after I apply in September?

PLEASE HELP!!!

We go to the same Orchestra and play in the same section. A few months ago I caught him staring at me, well I think it was at me, it was a long time ago. It was then that I realised I really liked him, even though I met him 6 months earlier. He is nice to me all the time, holds doors open for me, funny and our eyes always meet when we are rehersing at orchestra. We talk quite a bit. He doesn't like to touch me though. He tries to stay out of touching distance. He always says hi enthusiastically as soon as he sees me and asks how I am. He is never mean to me and compliments me sometimes.

Is there a chance he does like me? If so, I can I make subtle hints that I like him without being too obvious?

I am a HUGE fan of LOTR and have heard that they are on tour in the West coast of America. I want to go and see it so badly but Im in the UK.

What is the relationship of your composition to its context?

I am doing my GCSE listening and Appraising exam first day back at school after easter and neither us or our teacher knows what it is asking us. I really need help, for me and the rest of my class so we can understand what it means.

The question is about our composition that we have done on the Western Classical tradition. We had to use elements of Classical music in our composition.

Im in Y10 and really like this boy 2 yrs above me in College. ive liked him since i first saw him and this was a year and half ago when he was in y11 and me in y9.

He plays trombone and Double Bass. I play Cello and Double Bass. At first we tlkd quite alot but now we hardly see each other. we only see each other at the area orchestra and sometimes him helping at school band events. we never tlk and its like we're both invisible to each other.

Wat can i do to let him know how i feel or just tlk more.

Im really shy and HATE things like this. I cant deal with these things.
