  • My ex boyfriend, who's also my roommate, brings his girlfriend over on weekends.?

I've asked him not to, but he insists. Is there a way to get him to stop?

  • Kicking myself, where to go from here?

Long story short, over 18 mo.ago I responded to an ad on craig's list for a travel buddy. He answered back and we hit it off, to an extent as I was looking for a friend to travel with but soon, we were serious and I moved in with my boyfriend. We then moved to another state later on because he found a better job. The new area has no jobs in my field and I'm stuck in a minimum wage job until I find something better. He has a habit of leaving his Facebook page open which I rarely look at but tonight I saw a conversation he's been having with one of his female friends from back home. For the past couple of months he's been dissatisfied with me/our relationship. He brought up some points; our communication sucks, and my libido is much lower than his. My independence is what attracted him to me and now I'm too independent, yet I have no backbone to show for my previous experience. Our work schedules don't match so we have no time to spend together. I see where he's coming from and communication is difficult -- I'm not a talker and his children from his last marriage warned me he has trouble understanding people/concepts unless you write it down for him. He went on to say that he's found a fwb and been seeing her occasionally, along with wondering about another woman the next state over that he's still interested in and talking to. This is just since everything's been settled down after the move and I haven't heard about before. He'd admitted in the past he'd cheated before and I took for granted he got that out of his system. He'd also mentioned he was thinking of going on a road trip and leaving me somewhere if we couldn't work it out. Either that, or leaving me a note telling me to pack my things and get out. All my accessible savings have gone into moving expenses, I'm in the poorest state in the country with nothing but minimum wage prospects, and no transportation to get me somewhere else. I'm thinking he was hoping I'd see it and freak out just to get some type of conversation going. He's used to drama and I'm thinking he'd only understand me if I'm yelling back at him like his previous wives did.

I'm still happier now than I was before I met him and won't turn back, but if he no longer wants me in his future how do I take care of immediate housing/food etc.?

  • How do you get a retirement packet approved when it won't get past Brigade to get processed?

I've tried to transfer from the National Guard into the reserve, and have now put in for retirement twice. All requests go to the same Brigade SGM. The most current request is now "pending" after this SGM told another SGM I was able to reitre in April. It's now mid-March and it doesn't look like he'll approve this one. I still have the email where this SGM told the other one I might retire. Is there a regulation against this?

  • Can I give my military rank back?

I got promoted to E-6 almost a year ago, right before I deployed with the vt guard. I wasn't looking for it, nor did I get a phone call or any other notification asking if I wanted to accept the slot. I hadn't found out about it until three weeks after I was promoted. It involved a unit transfer, and I'm not much caring for my new unit. The feeling is mutual. Since I wasn't notified prior to the promotion and I found out secondhand, is there some way I can get my E-5 back?
