  • My dog has been biting people. I need help please..?

My blue heeler has bitten a lot of people. Today she attempted to bite a toddler in the face. It is really upsetting me because I love her to death and don't want to get rid of her, but at the same time I've corrected her repeatedly but she keeps doing it. This is my third dog I have ever owned. I have trained every dog and never had as many issues as I do with this dog. She knows over 20 commands so I know she is not stupid. I do muzzle her when I see she gets anxious around people. However sometimes shell just snap at someone for no apparent reason. No aggressive behavior at all. She's very friendly to most people but she just snaps out at people. what could cause this? She is 1 yr old an 4 mos. Getting rid of her is not an option because I rescued her from a shelter as a pup. And also she would not be suitable to go into another household. She's family. If I cannot correct this behavior and she continues to bite. More than likely she will have to be put to sleep. And I really do not want that.

Here is a picture of her : https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=5897009677...

Just copy and paste the picture to see it. I hope you guys can.

  • How do I get my Blue Heeler pup to stop being food aggressive?

My Australian cattle dog/border collie mix is 3 months old. I just got her 4 days ago and she is beginning to be food aggressive with other animals.(Ex. Family cat, and neighbors dogs.) She is easily trainable because since I have gotten her she has become house-trained. She has learned to sit and come on command. I adopted her from a nearby dog shelter. Whenever there is food available to her when she is around other dogs she will growl and then snap at the other dogs or cat. She attacked my neighbors puppy last night and my cat this morning. I am in need of some serious advice.
