3 AnswersOther - Health1 decade agoWould Skype be a good idea in this case?
My boss will be in Germany for approximately three months this fall. Our office will be in touch via email, but we're also looking into occassional phone contact, as well. We cannot call internationally on our office phones (and we can't change this.) As a result, we were looking at phone cards to get around the international block. A few minutes ago, my boss came in and asked me if I had ever used Skype--he had heard of it and thought it may serve our purposes. I've never used this service. What do you think? What all would it entail and would it be a good idea in this situation? No rude answers, please. Thank you.
2 AnswersOther - Computers1 decade agoHappiness is....?
Through his Peanuts cartoons, Charles Schultz gave ideas for what happiness is. From the mouths of the Peanuts gang, examples included: sharing a sandwich, getting along, five different crayons, playing a drum in your school band, and anything that's loved by you. They were the simple, often overlooked, pleasures in life. What is happiness for you?

5 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoIs is possible to copy a CD+G disk?
I am needing to create a back up of one of the disks in my collection. I know that I could copy just the CD part, but is there a way to copy the entire CD+G format? Assume that I have a CD/DVD burner. Thank you.
3 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoWhat is Ricky's last name?
I just got a call on my cell phone. Not a number I recognized...989 area code. A young-sounding female voice asked me something. It was so fast, I had to ask her to repeat it three times just to figure out what she was saying. I finally caught, "What is Ricky's last name?" I told her that I think she had the wrong number, as I don't know anyone named Ricky. When I went to ask her who she had meant to call, she hung up.
...so now, I ask all of you....What IS Ricky's last name?
18 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoDo you look at the world?
When you walk in a public place, (a street, a hallway, a store, etc.) do you walk with your head down or do you look around you? Do you make eye contact or not? Why do you think this is? No rude answers, please.
4 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoI can't stay asleep!?
I have never been able to sleep through the night. Most of my life, I woke once to use the bathroom and went right back to sleep. No big deal. Lately, though (the past few months) I have begun waking more frequently and the amount of time between wakings has been growning shorter and shorter. I now average 60-90 minutes of sleep before I wake up. I ususally have to use the bathroom and then I often have to battle the urge to get a snack. (I don't always resist.) This lack of solid blocks of sleep is draining me physically and emotionally. It's also making it difficult for my boyfriend to sleep. For clarity:
1) Yes, I am overweight (not obese). I am not diabetic.
2) I do not consume caffiene after about noon, sometimes as late as one. (I drink 1-2 cups of green tea in the morning.)
3) I have taken sleeping medication in the past and do not wish to do so again. I became dependant on them and they had serious personality effects.
Any advice? Professionals prefered.

I'm generally accepted as being a good-looking woman. I am a stage performer (I sing, dance, and act.) I'm recently divorced and loving life. This past season I started playing hockey. I joined an all men's rec. team and play right wing. What do you think? Hot or not?
22 AnswersHockey1 decade agoShould I be fretting over being childless and 30?
I am 30 years old, divorced, but now in a stable, loving relationship. He's 27. We know that we are in no position at this point in time to become parents--he's in college, I'm finishing a Master's degree. I've always wanted to be a mother, though, and he also says that he wants to become a father--someday. I feel like my time is running out, though. I know that women much older than I have had children, but I also know that medical assistance is usually needed in conceiving when the mother is up there in years. I guess what I'm asking is this: What do you all think? Should this be something I worry about day and night? Thank you in advance for your thoughts.
