Obama has been re-elected, what lays ahead?
So now the the President has been re-elected. Based on the debates on the issues, and the past policies observed, what can we expect for the next term of the President's administration now that re-election is no longer a concern?
4 AnswersElections9 years agoWhy is military gear so expensive?
Everywhere I look, things that the military gets is soooo expensive. For example, a thermal imaging scope costs a whopping $20,000, that's enough to buy a brand new Ford Focus! And FN SCARS cost well over $2,000, not to mention how military style camouflage costs upwards of $100 for a full set of clothes. Acogs, Aimpoints, m40a1s are all ludicrously overpriced. Is it because they don't want American civilians getting their hands on it? Or is it because they don't have any competition or what? I just don't get it.
5 AnswersMilitary9 years agoHow would two large modern Navies engage at sea?
There have been many naval battles through history, the most recent, and likely only great naval war was the Pacific of World War Two, I'm just wondering though, ever since the introduction of computers and smart weapons, how would an Admiral of today's navies (say the USN for example) pit his fleet against another modern navy (Russia, or even the UK's). All as in defense, offense, whatever it takes to ensure victory.
2 AnswersMilitary9 years agoWhat could I use a shotgun for?
I own a few rifles, and was wondering what uses besides skeet, trap, and home defense it could be used for, including recreation on the range. I was wondering because I intended to purchase something like a mossberg 500 in 12 gauge. Any ideas? All in comparison to rifles too, like what you can do that you can't with a rifle.
10 AnswersHunting9 years agoWhere should I put my tactical flashlight's pressure plate on my AR-15, without a vertical grip?
I have just recently gotten a tactical flashlight with a pressure switch for home defense, and I was wondering where I should place the pressure switch while I don't have a vertical grip. Any suggestions for places to put it where I can quickly activate it or not at will?
2 AnswersMilitary9 years agoWhy do public schools teach our kids to be Democrats?
Constantly, I saw teachers extremely against Scott Walker taking phony sick days to go and protest people like Scott Walker, some even going as far as to take their students to protest and hate Scott Walker. AND I've seen these kids who have no idea who Scott Walker is run around yelling "F*** Scott Walker!". What is this!?
11 AnswersElections9 years agoCan the government force the church to provide birth control?
As I recall, the first amendment of the Constitution forbids the government from "prohibiting the free exercise" of religion. Meaning they cannot force the Catholic church into doing something that goes against their religious teaching. So why is this even debated? This is truly religious desecration. Would they force atheists to fund a mission trip for Christianity? Or a Muslim to pay for a Catholic University?
7 AnswersPolitics9 years agoWould Thomas Jefferson Lose election 2012?
Clearly, the media has gone so far under that it cannot even be called news anymore. The extremely opinionated networks controlled by people of extreme influence and corruption have brainwashed so many into forgetting a thing called the Constitution ever existed. The Patriot Act, NDAA, and ACTA have all undermined our freedoms and the media doesn't even mention the issues that actually matter. Not to mention US Citizens are already being assassinated and detained without due process of law and under the radar. One of the assassination victims was a 16 year old; the CIA never even revealed a reason as to why they bombed him. It is terrible when people just believe it must have happened for a good reason, or he must have deserved it, when the CIA has never gave that boy a chance to surrender, or even an attempt to capture him. It is pure corruption when the US government kills it's own people, claims it had a reason, and never even pressed a charge or formal trial as stated in Due process and the 5th and 6th amendment.
Today, the media pushes forth people like Mitt Romney, and Barack Obama, people who have openly either revealed distaste for the Constitution, or promoted Constitution undermining policies. All while Constitutionalists are called "Extremist" or "Terrorists" by the government and the media. So who thinks Thomas Jefferson would lose the election on 2012 if he were still alive, even if the media has so many people brainwashed?
7 AnswersPolitics9 years agoHave the terrorists won?
Ever since the 9/11 attacks, Americans have lived under such fear of the "terrorists" that we are willing to give up their Constitutional rights to support this "War on terror". The Patriot act got rid of the 4th amendment (meaning the government can spy on you and search you WITHOUT A WARRANT). The NDAA (NATIONAL DEFENSE AUTHORIZATION ACT) gets rid of the fifth amendment allowing UNITED STATES citizens to be detained INDEFINITELY without TRIAL, or even assassinated at the will of the president.
Thomas Jefferson once said, “Those who surrender freedom for security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one.”
That was over 250 years ago and he saw this coming. If the US is willing to kill it's own citizens out of fear of the terrorists, they have by the way( NEW MEXICO BORN Anwar al-Awlaki, and 16 YEAR OLD COLORADO BORN Abdul Ramen al-Awlaki WITHOUT TRIAL OR PROOF), than who is the true victor of this war?
Final senate vote on the NDAA- 93:7 for
Please spread the word, the media doesn't want the people to know about it
11 AnswersCurrent Events9 years agoWhy isn't fusion energy used?
We all have heard about the terrible nuclear waste that comes out of Fission (breaking atoms apart) to make energy. So why don't we find more efforts to make energy via a Fusion reactor (Combining atoms) The result is far more energy (It's what the sun uses) and better it produces no nuclear waste. So why don't more efforts go to that?

1 AnswerMilitary10 years agoPC Battlefield 3 disappointing?
I strongly dislike how there is no in game menu, and how you have to start up Origin(which sucks by the way) just to start up the web browser to get to battlelog, and then have to select online option of game to start which sucks. I don't want to feel like I'm researching battlefield 3 on Google, I want to feel like i'm playing it! I can't play online 5 minutes without a crash. It's just severely disappointing. I hope that EA WILL change it. If I were to decide to take 30 minutes to play battlefield 3, I would spend only 10 of it actually in game. Anyone else with this feeling?
2 AnswersPC10 years agoWhy does Obama continue to blame congress for ignoring his bill while it was Democrats in the senate who did?
It does't seem very reasonable that Obama would just lie like that to just get votes, not to mention he talks about bypassing the legislative branch all together. And people shun calling him a communist?
2 AnswersPolitics10 years agoThe killing of Al Awlakis Son, is the Government out of control?
Recently, Al Awlakis 16 year old American borne son was killed in a recent drone strike in Yemen. Not only has the US government resorted to breaking Constitutional rights of citizens, but has resorted to assassinating them without a chance of a trial by a jury of peers. Not to mention that the government is killing children now. This is out of control, in no time, they would blow up a school just to get one hiding burglar. Any thoughts?

6 AnswersHunting10 years agoWhy are teachers unions so selfish?
They insist they need higher paychecks in order to get grades up, but they keep plummeting to lower and lower scores. Even though on average, union workers get $10,000 more dollars a year than non union workers, the non-union workers have to pay for their benefits. Bad teachers are hard to fire and they think a pedophile has the same right to be a public teacher as a college professor. From what I see, they don't care about children's futures, only their own paycheck.
