Why do petrol prices fluctuate so much on such a short cycle in Melbourne, Australia?
The petrol station by my house had petrol priced at 138.9 per litre Last Thu, 8 June. On Friday morning, it was down to 124.5 per litre. Yesterday morning, it rose to 144.5 per litre.
What on earth can causes price variations of +/-15% in less than a week? This is a regular occurrence, on approximately a weekly cycle.
