  • desperate to stay in touch with someone?

I have a very good friend whose parents have banned her from all contact with me. They believe I am a bad influence. I don't do drugs, I'm not in any weird cults or anything. We just enjoy sharing poetry, music, and our thoughts about our lives and dreams, hopes and aspirations. I'm not looking to be with her sexually at all but in a very special way I love her. I don't know exactly where she lives but I'm pretty sure we live far apart so I don't know when or if we will ever meet in person. but we both feel that we have bonded and have so much in common that not communicating with her has made me physically ill. It's been almost 6 months. I can't eat, sleep, and I'm miserable all the time. Her father monitors all her electronic communication. What is the best way to remain in contact without her parents knowing? I don't want to cause her any problems or grief but I feel like I'm fading away like a ghost, like I've lost a part of my soul. Much of the time I couldn't care less whether I live or die. Our bond is so far beyond anything I've ever known. Help please??!!

  • Do you believe deja vu is an actual phenomenon and what do you think causes it?

If you have not experienced it you can't answer with any authority. If you have experienced it then you know something strange and unexplained happened. So how often has it happened to you, cite an example and state your theories. Thanks.

  • Favorite scene in Silver Linings Playbook?

Had been curious about the movie since Jennifer Lawrence won best actress which was well deserved imo. So, having seen it twice now, I wanted to hear what other people's fav scenes were. Hard to choose 1 among so many, if you loved the film as much as I did, but give it a shot for some easy points.

  • When did movie sequels start?

It's practically expected for successful box-office movies, (notice I did not say good), to follow up with a sequel, or 2, 3, 4, 5 and so on. What was the first movie to do a sequel, good or bad, and can anyone name sequels that they thought were better than the first? I'm NOT talking about remakes here, just movie "franchises" like Paranormal Activity 2, 3, 4 and this October #5.

  • I'm extremely depressed after getting my heart broken and I need someone to talk to now.?

My marriage has been a total sham for 10 years. I started an online "friendship" a couple of years ago but never really wanted to take the next step until both my boys are up and out. Now my "friend" has cut off all communication. I really thought she cared about me and I adored her. She got me through some very tough times and made me feel like the man I used to be before my wife essentially emasculated me. I'm very near the end of my rope.

  • I want to know how I can restore a friendship with a girl that I loved very much but also hurt badly.?

This is someone I met online. When I say "hurt" I do not mean physically and when I say "loved" I mean in a platonic way but really more than that. She is younger than me but very mature for her age and I don't ever expect we'll be anything more than friends but her friendship meant the world to me. She inspired me to write music and poetry and I loved to read her own poetry and I looked forward to hearing about her life and adventures. She is beautiful in mind, body and soul and I miss her dearly. I looked forward to getting texts and emails from her, so much so that it made getting up everyday a joy! Just seeing her name sent shivers of excitement through me, but no more. I know she needs time away and I want to respect that. I only want her to know that I don't want to forget her and I really hope she'll let me back in her life someday. What should I do? How will I know when that time will come again?
