Hello

I truly need help.

I live in a house where I share with more 8 people.

Someone stolen my IPhone that I forgot in the kitchen.

I found out who it was 20 days ago. Unfortunately I can't proof.

Since them I am into anti depression medication because I am very sad to live there and share house with that person. Also I have constant bad dreams with the person

I gave one month notice to my landlord to leave the house and they refuse and say that I need to wait the contract finish. They know what's happening.

There is any law who protect me to leave the property? I am really struggling mentally and I don't want this life for me.

Landlord is fighting back.

What can I do???

I am going to meet a family offering a position to a "nanny with Antipodean approach". Does anyone know what that means???

I dont know if anyone out there can help me: I work for almost 2 years for a family as a Live In Nanny.

I have a question that I would like to know if you can answer for me. PLEASE!

I went on holiday with the family I work for and I was doing only nights 5pm to 8am because they have a baby under 6 months. The parents went away and I stayed with the children in the grandparent's house.

Many times during the day I helped the grandparents because they were visibly struggling with the kids around, I mentioned this in an email to my boss and she replied "Why don't you help them out as needed this week. Track your hours and we'll give you extra holiday time when we get back to London."

The total amount of extra hours I worked was 2 days and 2 hours. My boss wants to pay back the extra time owed by taking it off the babysitting I do twice a week which is included in my salary.

I think is unfair. :-(

So my question is: Do I have any obligation to accept or should I ask for the extra holiday she mentioned in the email?

My first languague is not English and I am doing a Teaching assistant course to help me to be a better NANNY for the kids.

I have one last question in this module and I got books in the library and I didint find out the answer.

The question is:

Plan an activity that encourages or extends a pupil’s social development. For example, encouraging the pupil to use a variety of social skills such as: demonstrating positive behaviour; being independent (e.g. using self-help skills or making choices); using effective communication skills; sharing resources; understanding the needs and feelings of others.

Does anyone can help me????? and also if you know any book I can buy where I can find activities for children, Like games, etc.. It will be a great help.
