  • Did you know these Little Known Facts about Mitt Romney (IYHT)?

    · After going to both Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School

simultaneously, he passed the Michigan bar, but never worked as an attorney.

    · As a venture-capitalist, Romney's first major business deal involved

investing in a start-up office supply company with one store in

Massachusetts that sold office supplies. That company, called Staples, now

has over 2,000 stores and employs over 90,000 people.

    · Romney or his company Bain Capital (using what became known as the "Bain

Way") would go on to perform the same kinds of business miracles again and

again, with companies like Domino's, Sealy, Brookstone, Weather Channel,

Burger King, Warner Music Group, Dollarama, Home Depot Supply, and many

    others.

    · Got your calculators handy? Let's recap.

    · Volunteer campaign worker for his dad's gubernatorial campaign 1 year.

    · Unpaid intern in Governor's office 8 years.

    · Mormon missionary in Paris 2 years.

    · Unpaid bishop and stake president for his church 10 years. No salary as

president of the Olympics 3 years.

    · No salary as MA governor 4 years.

    · That's a grand total of 28 years of unpaid service to his country, his

community and his church. Why? Because that's the kind of man Mitt Romney

    is.

    · And you know what? He’ll show you his:

    · Un-doctored Birth Certificate!

    · College transcripts!

    · Law degree!

    · Isn’t it time for a REAL CHANGE?

    · A brighter HOPE for America .

    · Forget downing the opposition

    · Raise up the new president-to-be the winner in November, 2012!

    · Mitt Romney – American by birth!

And he also gave away his inheritance from his father to charity. . .

  • Why is it we can find out so much about Mitt Romney's past, even his childhood days, but?

can't find out anything about Obama's? No one who knew Obama in his childhood or college days, no one who actually knew him in Hawaii has come forward. The only thing we hear is what he tells us or wrote in his book. Sounds like he just suddenly appeared out of thin air and wrote a book.

But we can find lots of people who have known Mitt Romney since childhood.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedd...

Here is the truth in Obama's own words. We not the government or some committee should be making our own health decisions. So what do you think?

  • Why doesn't Newt admit defeat?

He has the least delegate's. He only won one state. Does he hate Romney that much? Or is his ego in the way?

  • Why would anyone want the government to control all aspects of their life?

The government wants to control everything in our life.

    1. your money (control of banks and treasury)

    2. your health (exp. Obama-care) Look at Europe and Canada to see where that leads)

    3. your food (Agricultural subsidies to determine what a farmer can grow and when and how much.

    4. your home (government provided housing and mortgages)

    5. your transportation (bailout/takeover of automobile industry)

What else are you willing to give up control of? What ever happened to sink or swim? Good choices in ones life lead to a better tomorrow. Bad choices make you rethink your errors. Personal responsibly is what built this country.

  • What do you think about this solution?

There is an article in the AARP newsletter that talks about how long it takes for the elderly to get help to stay in their homes and remain independent. It seems some wait a year or more to get needed assistance even though they qualify for the assistance. My solution is two fold. Take the unemployed and put them to work assisting the elderly in their community. They will continue to receive their unemployment and/or Welfare checks but they would be doing something positive for their communities. What do you think?

  • Do you think McCain will wiin Nov, 4th?

It would appear that some polls are deceiving. I suppose it depends on who you talk to and how biased you present your poll. But here AP seems to have discovered that McCain and Obama are actually much closer percentage wise than the media has tried to make us believe.

  • How is this a violation? I can't see it myself. I think I must have stepped on some toes.?

Question: If the democrats are so high on socialism, why don't they give their money out to the middle class?

Question Details: I hear that Obama has raised some $400 million. Well, if he was so bent on making socialism our economic system since, as he has said, capitalism doesn't work, then why does he not put his money where his mouth is. Why doesn't he distribute that money out to the people who all could make better use of the money than spending it on all this campaign stuff? What do you think? Exactly how is that dumb? It is in true socialist form where everybody has the same amount. They are given the same pay, food, gas, clothes, etc. That is what socialism is and what Hussein Obama wants. Hey Ducky, if capitalism has failed as he did say yesterday, does he want socialism, communism, or some other form of economic system we are not knowledgeable of? What economic system does he want? For those who don't watch the news and think Obama did not call our capitalist economy a failure, please read what he said yesterday: http://www.iht.com/articles/2008/09/17/america/oba... So again, what economic system does he want? Hey Liberal, what exactly is government controlled schooling, universal health care, welfare, and a forced minimum wage? Are those not principles and characteristics of socialism? Maybe you need to do a little more reading.

Deleted Answer: With all the social programs Obama wants his plan is a socialist system. He could care less about the little people, all he cares about is his lobbyist friends. He will always follow the money. He wants to tax us right out of jobs. He tries to talk the talk and walk the walk, but he can't do it. All his words of change and hope are just that WORDS and nothing else. Remember his words, "Help me change America".What does he want to change it too, another third world country? I don't want America changed, I am comfortable with our traditions and values. WE do need to change the Washington crowd to people who care more about America than they do about their billfolds and pocketbooks.

  • Have you seen this ad? Where is the libel?

Watch the short video before answering. I checked the facts stated in the video and they are all a matter of public record. So I fail to see how Obama can even claim any libel at all. So what do you think?About William Ayers - the Weather Underground Terrorist and close friend of Obama!

*This is the ad that Obama is doing his best to get banned and has threatened stations that air it.

  • So whose tax plan is better? McCain's or Obama's?

It seems that this left leaning liberal think tank has discovered that people would be better off with McCain's tax plan than with Obama's. Under McCain the deficit would be less than under Obama.

For those too lazy to look it up for themselves,Here's the link.

  • Boeing Co. vs Northrop Grumman? Who has the best plane for the Air Force?

ln the contested competition N.G had the better all round plane, vs. the inferior offer by Boeing. It seems there is controversy about an American owned company vs a foreign owned. Lets see Boeing is 3 years behind on existing contracts and now they are on strike. Not a very good recommendation on those merits alone. They also assemble parts 80% of which come from overseas.

N.G. has a better plane and can be up and running in a matter of months. They will also have creatred thousands of new American jobs. Of course, the argument is they are foreign owned. Who cares as long as it creates jobs for Americans. What difference does it make who owns the company? Sounds to me like Boeing has Washington in its hip pocket. Can this greedy company be good for our econony, I think not. Now it could be up to 4 years before a contract can be awarded. Wonder why? The Air Force is the loser whichever way it goes for now, because they will have to continue to fly old, outdated planes. Obama has said he would favor Boeing. Is this because he wants their support and they are based in Illinois. I guess he doesn't care about quality,he just wants votes. What do you think?

  • Barracuda vs Bulldog? Palin vs Biden? Who do you think will do better?

In the upcoming debate, who do you think will do better Gov. Palin or Sen. Biden?

  • Democrats, if experience is not important for Presidential candidates, why is is so important for the VP.?

All through this election/nomination process, you have been saying experience is not important so why is it important now? You keep questioning Palin's experience and she is only running for the Vice Presidency. Do you think the VP needs experience and the President doesn't? This reasoning seems very shallow and strange to me. Help enlighten me, please. Only serious thoughtful responses will be considered.

  • Do you think this will backfire on Obama?

Now that he thinks he has effectively shut Hillary down, He wants to reinstate all of Florida and Michigan delegates with full votes. Now he thinks if he reinstates them it will help his case. I think its too late for him. What do you think?

The DNC is all concerned about 'party unity' now. Too late, they should have considered that a couple of months ago.According to Alexis Herman, James Roosevelt,Jr and Eliseo Roques-Arroyo, their goal is now and always has been to ensure a fair process. Wonder where their sense of fair play was when they ruled against Hillary. I don't think there is anyway to regain what they have lost. Do You.?

  • Oh, what is this, another Obama flip flop?

First he was against offshore drilling and now he's for it. What's with this? He sees where McCain is beating him on this one, so all of a sudden, Obama wants to jump on the band wagon and 'change' his mind again. I bet he 'hopes' we will forget that just yesterday, he was deadset against offshore drilling.

  • What is going on? Who is that masked man?

An interesting article in today's paper written by Thomas Sowell asks these same questions.

AFTER reading the article these questions make a lot of sense. We should be looking at Obama's record and not at what he is saying. http://jewishworldreview.com/cols/sowell070808.php...

An excerpt from his column is: Here is a man who has consistently aided and abetted people who have openly expressed their contempt for this country, both in words and in such deeds as planting bombs to advance their left-wing agenda.

So what are we to believe? What he says or what he has done?
