  • What is the difference between a question that is "Open" and one that is "In Voting"?

I have answered MANY questions that are "Open" which do not give the opportunity to Vote.

Does this mean I get no points even if my answer is the only one as no-one seems to vote it "Best Answer"?

  • Collection of points...?

From 17/2/07 to 14/10/09 is about 971 days (2.66 years).

Can someone tell me how it is physically possible to answer 117 054 questions in this time?

I find this rate of response amazing! Please tell me how it is done because I am willing to learn.

The average number per day is about 120 or 5 per hour, non-stop for 2.66 years.

How is it done? What is the secret? I am not seeking to offend anyone but I am absolutely fascinated by the statistics.

    Thank you.

  • Points accumulation with Yahoo answers...?

I am curious about the points obtained from answering questions.

For example someone has 88 979 points from answering 10 489 questions.

This is an average of 8.483 per question. 17% best ones.

The % of best answers is, however, 56. How does one obtain such a high value, 8.483, and answer only 56% best answers? There seems to be a paradox here.

I have 2 390 points from 580 answers with an average of 4.12 per answer.
