I recently found out im pregnant, i informed my employer. Due to the fact that i work in a hospital and do alot of heavy lifting, i felt i needed to tell them about my new restrictions. Well i gave them my dr note but they wont let me work. at first they were telling me i needed to get put on lite duty. Then i found out since i havent been with the company for at least one year, i cant do that. My manager told me to either get the dr to change my restrction or i would have to resign. So i had my dr alter my restrictions so i can continue to do my current job but they still wont let me work. I was told it needs to be approved. I feel like im being black balled for being pregnant. I cant quit because my insurance is with them and i need it. Can they fire me for being pregnant? I know the laws but i dont qualify for fml yet until oct. And i only have so much pto and im using for the days they arent letting me work.

My 6 yr old woke up last night crying saying her stomach hurt. She had a fever but i was able to get her to asleep. She awoke again 2 hours later crying and said she didnt know what was going on with her and her belly button hurt. As long as she laid down she was fine. I took her to the ER early today and they said she was constipated. X ray was fine. She had a BM before leaving and they gave her motrin to lower fever. Now 3 hours we are home and she is still having belly buttom pain, and a fever of 103. No coughing or any cold symptoms just stomach pain. Should i be worried? Not sure what is going on.

This isnt the first time and he does have anger issues. But recently while we were driving , we got into a little arguement, he said he wanted to punch me in the face( an thats sayin it nicely). He didnt but it scares me and hurts my heart to hear him say it. A few years ago while argueing he slammed me on the bed and choked me. I called the cops and the court made him take come classes. He yells at me alot and can be controlling. And other days he perfectly fine. We have 4 kids together and i dont make enough money to support my self. What should i do? I dont think he would hit me but it doesnt seem like normal husband behavoir. Is there anything i can do or say to him that can help?

Im 6 days late for my period and i have been experiencing white discharge for over 7 days. I tested tuesday with a hpt and it was negative. Im waiting till monday to retest. till then i was just wondering if anyone ended up preggers after havin the same experience. I have had period like cramps for over a week followed by headaches and lower backaches. All period like symptoma but no period. any comments are welcome ; ) i am tryig to concieve so yes i want to be pregnant

My period is 6 days late as of today. I have had a white discharge for the last 7 days instead of bleeding. I fhave felt period like cramps for over a week but nothing. My breast are tender, i have headaches , backaches and some food adversions. I took a hpt on tuesday morning and it was negative. I read to wait another week or so before i test again if I dont get my period by then. My question is . Do you think im pregnant? Has this happened to anyone and they turn up pregnant? and yea im trying to concieve ;) thanks

Ok, so my lease is up next month and the apartment manager has told me she doesn't wish to have my family renew our lease. She claims "numerous complaints" about us. We have been here for a year and we only have had her come to our door and tell us of a two minor issues(no written notices), which were about my children.( noise level once and another wasn't any of my kids but they can to my door with the complaint any ways about kids door to door selling) These issues where when we first moved in, over 11 months ago. So now we wanted to renew she said they have don't want us to. Now my question is, can she do that? Can I ask her for reasonable documentation on the complaints against us? I feel she is discriminating against us. We live in a up scale luxury apartment and happen to be one of the only non-white residents. Or she doesn't like us. Can I sue for discrimination?

My husband of 7 years has become very verbally abusive towards me and our children. He has always been a little emotional about things, over reacting and minor cursing but recently he has been just out of control. He has been mean, cold and nasty. Continuously cutting me down, more swearing, violent thoughts and words towards every body. He is always talking about government conspiracies and aliens! Seriously. He thinks every one is out to get him. Even me. He talks a lot and when i don't show interest in what he is saying he gets defensive. I feel i should mention that 4 years ago he had an accident that involved a stick going through his eye socket , causing bone fragments to protruded into the frontal lobe of his brain. Not severely but enough that no doctor will touch it. Like I said this behavior just started within that past 5 months or so. He won't see a counselor and I don't want to leave him if he is mentally sick but I'm just not feeling safe around him or leaving him with the kids.Am i crazy or is there something wrong?

In March i called and was told it was being processed and should be sent soon. Now in July 08, I recieved a letter from a collection agency . Do I have any rights? Can they just send it to collections even though i never recieved the bill?
