Today, every time I try to read the news for the UK Yahoo, it automatically switches me to the American site. I can't seem to open any news stories. Has any body else had this problem? I doubt it's my computer, as everything else seems to work.

I often have friends drop by unexpectedly just as we are about to sit down to dinner. Obviously, I didn't know they were coming or i'd have made extra.

Do you leave the meal to get cold and congealed in the kitchen to eat later, offer them a sandwich, or something else entirely?

I'm not sure what the politest solution is. Any suggestions?
