  • Best campground in North East Ohio?

We are a family of four that would like to go camping! We want a campground that offers bike/walking trails, fishing, boat rentals and other fun. We live in Medina, Ohio and would be willing to drive an hour for the right campground. Please be specific because we are new to the area. Thanks!

  • Downtown Cleveland hotel near Wolstein Center?

I need a suggestion for a downtown Cleveland Ohio hotel. It needs to be~ clean, safe, kid friendly, indoor pool, very close to Wolstein Center. And around $100 for a Friday night. If you have a suggestion please tell me about how far it is from Wolstein Center, whether or not there is a pool, what the eating options are in the hotel, and how nice the room was. Thank you!

  • House list price is $139,900. We want to offer $130k plus seller pays closing. Is that a good start?

    Asking price~ $139,000

    Date listed~ July 1, 2009

Market analysis~ Homes selling 5-7% below asking price

Sellers info~ Bought home in 2003 for $135,000 BUT mortgaged only $120,000. Second mortgage in 2004 for $20,000. (My realtor found this info)

We have sold and closed on our home. We have our financing approved by our bank. And we like this home. It's in great condition.

Our realtor thinks we should come in at full asking price and ask for the seller to pay for closing. I think she's crazy! I'm not paying full price! I want to start at 130k + closing. I would like to end at $135k or less + closing, home warranty, (and I would LOVE to have their washer and dryer, I know, it's petty!) Is this realistic? Any opinions welcome! All good advice welcome!

  • Which Vegas hotel would better fit my needs, Flamingo or Luxor?

I have been to Vegas several times, but I have never stayed at either of these hotels. So if I could please get some opinions please.

    June 14-16

    2 adults

    2 children Ages 6 yrs. & 8 yrs.

Plans~ Attend a wedding, sight see, eat cheap (well maybe 1 nice meal), swim at pool for a few hours.

We have a rental car. Everyone going has been to Vegas before, so proximity to attraction are not really important.

I like Luxor because of the theming and the food court option, plus the free tram to M.B. and Excalibur. I have read lots of mixed room reviews!

I like the Flamingo because of the location and the POOL! Not sure about rooms because it is an older hotel? Not sure about cheap eats nearby?

Both hotels are the same price, well within $10 of each other. Please give advise if you have any! Well, beside "do not take kids to Vegas". We are attendng a wedding in Vegas so the kids have to be there.

  • Compare Disneyland hotels to the Disney World hotels?

I have been to Disney World several times and have stayed on disney property on most of the trips. I am in the process of planning a trip to Disneyland and would like for someone to compare the 3 disneyland properties to the hotels at disney world.

I think the Grand Californian looks like a mixture between Grand Floridian and Winderness Lodge. But what about the other two Disneyland hotels.

Please don't go into great lengths of describing each one in particular because I have read several reviews and looked at several pictures. But I am really looking for a comparison.

  • What Columbus Ohio exit would be easy access for to meet my Aunt at?

What would be an easy exit to meet my Aunt at? She is coming from Terre Haute, In. I want her to drive past 270 so I don't have to. So she will be on 71N and I will be on 71S. We want to meet near Columbus. I am coming from Cleveland, Ohio. We plan on eating lunch (fast food or quick sit down, pizza hut, steak n shake, mcdonald's or something like those). We need an "easy on" and "easy off" exit. Please help!

  • How do you apply for a job as a desk service agent at an airport?

I live near the Cleveland airport and I would like to apply for a job as a desk agent. I don't have a preferred airline, but probably continental since Cleveland has the hub there. I don't care about the free flights because I don't travel very often, I just want to pay my bills. I looked on the website and it didn't list any openings for Cleveland. But the airport employs so many people that they must have some openings right? Do you go to the airport and apply? What should I do?

  • Cleveland suburb w/ low crime, good schools, affordable housing, shopping, chain restaurants, moderate traffic?

I lived in Terre Haute, Indiana for the last 28 years. We moved to Medina, Ohio last August. Medina is not the place for us to settle down. I love the school here, but I need a bigger city.

Me and Hubby are early thirties with 2 children (8 & 6 years old). Hubby works from home as a steel salesman and travels to Akron, Cleveland, Columbus, etc. to meet with clients. I am a elementary teacher.

We need a house that would cost below $150,000. Low tax rates. We need a family friendly neighborhood to seems quiet but is five minutes from the store, the mall, etc. I like newer homes.

Good schools are the top priority!

I would rather see large chain restaurants (Cheesecake factory, California Pizza Kitchen, Ruby Tuesday) than a quaint town square. Nothing wrong with the quaint small town thing but it's just a personal preference.

We have visited...Akron, Fairlawn, Twinsburg, Strongsville(we really like),Hudson(out of our price range). But just to bowl or eat at a restaurant. So I don't know anything about any towns, just that Medina is not for us.

Could someone who knows this area well please help me! I am going in blind. I would hate to buy a house in a town that we do not like! I would appreciate any opinions, tips, or ideas! I would love to hear anything that would help make this decision easier!

Thank you thank you thank you!

  • Which Las Vegas hotel should I book? Bill's, Flamingo, Monte Carlo?

Travel party includes~ Me & Hubby, Mother in law, 2 children

    Ages~ 28, 32, 62, 8, 6

    Dates~ April 2-6

    Prices~ Bill's $247 Flamingo $351 Monte Carlo $362

My Needs~ Good pool, cheap eats, less walking as possible, somewhere that will somewhat impress my mother in law

We have a car and besides having cheap food, a clean room and a good pool we don't really care what else the hotel has to offer. because we won't use anything else.

I know Monte Carlo has construction beside it, but can you see it from the pool?

I've narrowed it down to these hotels so please give me your opinions on which on is best suited for our needs and why.

    Thanks!!!

  • Anybody have recent pictures or comments of Monte Carlo in Las Vegas? Especially the pool area!?

I'm staying there April 2-6, 2009. I'm taking the kids and planning on staying at the pool most of the day. I wondered if the construction ruined the atmosphere of the pool area. I don't care about the view from the room, that's no big deal. I just need to know what the pool area is looking like recently.

  • Which Vegas show would better fit my needs, Ka or Mystere? Me &hubby(28&32), mother in law(65), my kids(6&8)?

I need a show that will appeal to all ages because our ages are of a very wide range. I need it to be very action packed and fast paced in order for the kids to be entertained. I think KA looks like it would scare my 6 year old, but I'm not sure. I've read bad reviews of Mystere. Both are in my price range. I want to impress my mother in law and entertain my children at the same time. Someone please help guide me as to where we all would be happy!

  • Going to Vegas w/8 & 5 Yr. old. Need good pool and frugal food options. Stay at Mirage or Monte Carlo? Why?

Mirage is $40 cheaper, but monte carlo offers 2 free buffets and food court coupons. I know monte carlo is easy to navigate, but the mirage is higher class? Where would we fit in better with having the kids with us? No judgments please. We are more likely to eat at cafe or a mid priced chain restaurant than anything high end. We have a rental car and my mother in law who doesn't care much for walking. I have been to vegas 4 times in the last 2 years, so I am familiar with the hotels. But I really need your opinions!!! Please help!
