  • What should I do about this organization I belong to?

I was unsure where to post this question. If I'm way off, please advise me where to post. I joined a citizens group which I shall not name. It is a political organization dedicated to protecting our first amendment rights. It is also a social club of sorts (it's a bar). Everyone who works there is a volunteer; they work for tips only. I have also volunteered there. I know you are dying for me to get to the point, so here goes: All volunteers were called in for a meeting and informed that there would be no "gossiping" or discussing the affairs of the club, the president of the club, or any of the more important members or volunteers of the club. Does this not violate our first amendment rights? Plus, since I have come to my own conclusion that the place is more of a "bar" than a "club", where can they get off telling us what to say? I say it's all bar talk, which happens at all bars, and at all clubs for that matter. Your input will be greatly appreciated.
