Baby Dump

I'm a single Mom that will be receiving a Federal Pell Grant for my schooling next year (Spring/Summer Semesters if 2010). This was obviously based on my income for 2008.

In 2009 I made more money. How much money is TOO much money to receive a Pell Grant. Basically I'm concerned that for the Fall 2010, Spring 2011 and Summer 2011 I will not be able to get a Pell Grant = I cannot finish my degree.

Any help?

I work for a manufactor that customizes tennis balls. We have a ton that are "bad" due to the imprint being crooked or whatever so we cast them aside.

I was thinking we could market these "bad" ones to Elementary schools to use on the bottoms of the students' chairs to prevent scuffing and also nursing homes for the walkers. We've all seen people with walkers that have tennis balls on the bottom.

Anyway....I was trying to think of a catchy name for these tennis balls. Something that would be discriptive as well as catchy.

Any thoughts???

Almost every month, the week my period is over I get a yeast infection.

I've mentioned it to my doctor and they've given be refills for Diflucan, but I can't just make an appointment as my Medicaid is only for family planning.

They've checked me for Diabetes, HIV/Aids and anything else.

Is this just something that happens? Does anyone else experience this?

I've been working as an Office manager for a contract packager for about a year, with many other jobs before that. I've realized that I want a career that I can be proud of.

I've always loved the idea of teaching, but was always too busy to earn a BA.

I think now, I'm ready to pursue it. I want to be a high school English teacher.

Is is worth it? I will be about 32 when I graduate (I'll have to take a lighter coarse load because I work 2 jobs and have 3 kids).

Anyone know of any good scholarships?

Question Details: I do not understand the obsession. It doesn't even stick to proper vampire lore? And now they are going to ruin the legend of the werewolf? Why do people enjoy something so insipid? I honestly do not understand I have a few friend in their mid 20's early 30's who love it! WHY! I also am not speaking of the "hollywood" vampires I mean THE REAL LEGEND! Deleted Answer: Vampires in this book (book series) do not adhere to the whole hollywood-vampire folk lore. Also, Jacob is not a werewolf, he's a shape-shifter that takes on the form of a wolf, so not ruining the werewolf legacy. It's a good story, an easy read and it's written for young adults, but I enjoy it b/c its not full of vulgarity, gore, sex and anything else that I'm sick of watchin/reading.

My son just turned 4 this week. His two older step-brothers will be returning to school next week and I was wanting to start teach more advanced concepts to my 4 year old.

(FYI this is the first year my step kids have been with us during the school year...last year they were with their Mom for school)

I was thinking:

-learning to recognize letters in his name

-learning to write his name

Are these advanced? Or should he know this already? How soon is too soon to teach how to read?

We've been having a tough go-round lately just wanting some ideas for nice things to do for your man. Any opinions?

1. We live together (means I make a nice dinner every night)

2. We have 3 kids between us (means nothing kinky)

3. He;s 31 and I'm 27 (means no teenage stuff)

4. He's a work outside all day, guitar playing, beer drinking, cuss like a sailor,manly man (means no dressing up and going out or anything that requires him to shave...lol)

My boyfriend and I have been together for 9 months and have moved in together.

His kids (8 and 9) are doing great, my 3 year old is not so good.

I know it's a change from being the only child, but how much is enough?

I think he "plays" me, looking for sympathy...saying "i'm scared of John" when there is absolutely nothing to be scared of.

Anyone dealt with this? How did you cope? Did you ignore it? Correct the whinning? I'm lost.

I love him with everything I am. He loves me, he shows it everyday. For the most part we have a great relationship.

Getting married is very important to me. He doesn't want to legally bind himself to another person (again).

Should I just respect his feelings and just enjoy our life together as is OR should I respect my own feelings and realize I'm not going to settle and I'm entitled to want what I want?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 9 months. We moved in together 5 months ago.

I just need some advise on how to move passed some of the aspects of our relationship that hurt me.

1. 3 weeks after we started dating, he came to me one night and said that he just had a baby that was born. At first he told me that it was with a girl that was a one night stand and that he doesn't really see himself having alot to do with this child.

A few weeks later I learned that I was pregnant. He wanted an abortion, and dispite my instinct, I proceeded with it.

I later find out that this girl that he just had a baby with was sleeping with him for several months and now this child comes over to our house every other weekend.

I do admire how he stood up and didn't abandon his child...but in some weird way I feel "cheated on". I was under the impression that this wouldn't be a major factor in our life. Now the girl calls all the time for rides to places, for extra money (background: she doesn't work and lives off of food stamps, medicaid, WIC, and my boyfriend's childsupport).

I HATE this. I hate that this girl is going to be part of our lives until the day we die. I hate that I have to care for this child when my boyfriend insisted that I have an abortion. Everytime he plays with his son or tells his son that he loves him, I cringe thinking "why was my baby so hated that it had to be murdered?"

How do I move past this? How do I stop crying when I'm alone?

I have just recently started taking a 28-day birth control pill and I fully understand that I am not protected against pregnancy until I take all of the first pack. My question is: being that I am on the last week with only 4 pills left in the pack (supposedly the last week has no medication, just used as reminder pill), am I protected yet against pregnancy?

The second part of the question is, if I'm not protected with only 4 of the "reminder pills" left, then should I get/can I take the "morning after pill" if I am already on birth control.

added details: I have used the pill correctly, taken every night at the same time.
