My girlfriend is having surgery on her back for her scoliosis in boston today, her surgery started at 7:30am but I'm not in boston with her :( because shes only allowed to have two visitors, which are her parents, because she is 16 years old, which means I can't even go see her after her surgery is over, I have to wait to see her when she comes home, so I'm stuck here on an island in eastern maine (where my girlfriends and I live) hundreds of miles away feeling helpless because I have no way of knowing how my girlfriend is doing and if shes okay or not :( I have to wait for a call from her mom or from her telling me how shes doing :( and its killing me, my heart has been pounding all day from anxiety, because I love her to death and she means the world to me, her and I have been together for over a year, she is 16 and I am 18, normally I'm strong, but right now I feel weak and helpless because I cant be there with her and because I have no way of knowing how shes doing until I get a phone call from her mom :( and I don't even know if I'm gonna get that call tonight

so does anyone know of any way I can calm myself down and stop worrying until I find out how my girlfriend is doing?

for a couple of weeks (3 to 4 weeks) my lower back has hurt whenever i lean back and sometimes it when i do stuff that involves using my back it hurts even more. im an 18 year old guy btw. im not sure if it hurts because my back is out of place or what, i think it might be, because i do a lot of welding, metal forming, and other metal work in the metal shop at my school, i am able to build bigger things than everyone else is, because im the only "advanced metals" student at my school, because ive taken all the other classes and my teacher kinda created advanced metals as a class just for me, so the things i make are big and heavy, but anyway, im always carrying around heavy stuff and bending over while welding a lot, so it does put a strain on my back, but my back really started hurting after i picked up an anvil and carried it across the metal shop so i could use it, and ive done this several times since then too, so could my lower back be out of place because of this? and dont say go to the doctor, i already have a doctors appointment for it this week

our baby cousin has some pretty bad problems

and one of them was 6 pounds and the other was 8, the one that is 8 pounds was on bottom and she was squished, so her legs and hips and hands were deformed

well isnt the other one just mean for sitting on their sister

and she might have a nurological problem because they tried to bottle feed her today and the fluid just went into her lungs because her air way wont close up when she drinks, and when the fluid went into her lungs she didnt cough or anything, so the doctors think she didnt even feel that the fluid was going into her lungs

Savanna:

or her body didnt' react

its an automatic reaction

her legs are in casts to fix them and so are her hands, but she might not ever be able to walk

her air way is to soft or something

she might have a nuro muscular problem

the other baby is just fine, but gabriella has a lot of problems, i dont even think gabriella has gotten to go home yet,

i say to you now she is normal

we'll see, the doctors say they wont know if she has a nuromuscular problem until shes older, all we can do is pray i guess

they will find nothing

i feel bad for her, that is a really crappy way to start out life

i have faith, but she is not healed right now, shes still in the hospital, if she can never walk, god made her that way for a reason

we are not intended for this

do you no know that God longs to see his beloved healed

so he gave it already

why trust and declare all the doctor says as though the name of these things they say are higher than the name of the Lord

doctors know what theyre talking about

so why trust them over the promises you know God has given

god didnt promise that all children will be born problem free

Savanna:

dude this comes because we do indeed live in a broken world

but Has not the Lord said that he has all authority

has he not promised all things in him

am i the only one here that thinks is stupid that people use yahoo answers for relationship advice and use it to ask "does this person like me?" i mean how the **** are we suppose to know if they like you, we arent them

after giving blood for your first time how long does it usually take the american red cross to send you your blood donor card that says your blood type on it? its been two weeks since i gave blood

i am a volunteer firefighter in training and its hard to open my firefighters knife (this knife http://www.ckbproducts.com/images/wholesale-fire-f... ) with my gloves on, and i was wondering if i could take the spring from my gerber presto 3.0 ( http://www.discountcutlery.net/media/G1581.jpg ), which has a broken blade, and put the spring in my firefighters knife, would i be able to do this?

I am a volunteer firefighter in training and I need help figuring out what equipment/tools I should buy to put in the pockets of my turnout gear. I already have a pair of linesman pliers to cut wires, a small flashlight, and a large serrated pocket knife to cut ropes etc... any suggestions on what else i should buy?

it hasn't been shipped yet, it says shipping soon, but i just looked at the sellers profile (sways) and the game is no longer listed on their profile? is this because i ordered the last copy of the game they had?
