Specifically, I'm looking for NON vocaloid artists/groups (not that I dont enjoy vocaloids, but with luck I'll soon be hosting a jrock show on the radio and Ive already got tons on vocaloid tracks), and I'd prefer speed metal / power metal over black metal / death metal / screamo / etc etc.

Well I'm watching F/SN and, srry to the fans, but Ive never seen a show thats more "meh..." I've heard good things about Fate/zero, but Ive got to know, is it significantly better than F/SN? And if so, would I be lost if I just skipped F/SN? I'm literally forcing myself to watch each episode...this whiny useless kid is driving me crazy....

Loved the creepy vibe and a lot of the characters in Another, wondering if anyone knows any other shows with a similar atmosphere, and an equally compelling plot.

Heres the tricky part, I dont want a full on horror/gorefest anime. Another was right at the edge of what I can stand in terms of violence... I'm a wuss, its something Ive come to terms with.

So really what I'm after is a creepy, supernatural mystery driven show. The plot itself dosnt need to be at all similar to Another, but if possible, I would prefer a show with decent animation, and a plot that really hooks you.

I know I'm askin alot, but thx in advance for any reccomendations!

I like her, but shes just hauls off and mouth rapes Mako even though he's seeing someone...I know she likes him but still, I liked Korra less after she did it, especially right in front of Bolin...is it just me or was that whole scene kinda messed up?

Just what I said; whats the one anime you've seen that had you laughing your @$$ off from start to finish?

First off let me say I loved the show, its actually one of the few animes that I'd rate a perfect 10/10....but...I did have a few questions....

First off, how was Yuno so good at fighting? I mean she was like a friggin navy seal or something, she deflected knives thrown at her, fought off dozens of people at once, plus she knew how to shoot a gun and use a sword like a pro....Did it ever explain how she could do all that?

Second, how come Yuno didnt dissapear when her spare diary was destroyed? Technically it was still "hers" so wouldnt she still die?

Third, If Yuno had all Deus' power, couldnt she have just gone back and killed world 2's Deus, and then canceled the game before it started? That way she couldve been with Yuki and they wouldnt have had to worry about killing each other....

Lastly.....please tell me theres gonna be a season 2?

I'm watching "Mirai Nikki" (and still watching, so no spoilers plz!) and its one of the best animes Ive ever seen, its got elements from all my other favorite shows. The strategy, plotting, and action of "Code Geass". The godlike power, creepyness, and masterful plot of "Death Note"...... And the insane homocidal pink haired girl from "Elfen Lied".

So as Im noticing that fact, it gets me wondering, which power would beat all the others? At first I thought Geass hands down, Lelouch orders everyone to kill themselves, game over. BUT then I think, Yukiteru and Yuno could check their diaries and know when Lelouch was going to use it and close their eyes or look away. THEN I thought, ya know, Lights pretty freakin smart, he could probably figure out Yuno and Yuki's names and that would be that.....but then I thought that Lucy from Elfen Lied would cut Light in half with vectors, and Light couldnt do anything about since theres no way in hell hed figure out what Lucys REAL name was (hell, people who only watched the anime dont even know what it is hehe, wikipedia it).

Anyways best I can figure are that these four powers are like the perfect rock, paper, scissors....and some fourth thing. SO heres the question:

Which one of these powers and characters could beat could beat ALL the others?

Light and his Death Note

vs.

Lelouche and his Geass

vs.

Yuno and Yuki and both of their future diaries

vs.

Lucy's vectors, insanity, and raw badassity.....

Assume this is a "battle royal" all four combatants just learned of the others' existence and suddenly want to kill each other(for some reason...). They only know each other by reputation, and dont know the specifics of each others powers. Ex. the others dont know Lucy's vectors only reach 4 meters, or that Lelouch needs eye contact, or that Kira needs a name and a face. If you think a specific combatant could figure out someone else weakness, and use it to kill them, tell me how they do it.

So, the rules are set, WHO WINS??

(PS go ahead an gimme your best guess even if you havnt seen one of the shows!)

So I'm just wondering which is better, an upgraded daedric weapon, with max enchanting and alchemy potions to boost smithing, or a bound weapon with max conjuration/weapon skill with relevant conjuration perks?

I'd would guess the upgraded weapon would be better since you can boost its dmg by like 300%, but I'm not really sure since I dont know how much the conjuration perks and skill boost the bound weps damage

I'll start off by saying I'm not a Catholic, and the shows Im going to mention are some of my favorite stories of all time, but that being said....

It seems like every time a catholic or a priest is shown in an anime or manga hes the bad guy.

Examples:

Father Cornello in "Fullmetal Alchemist"

Much of the vatican order in "Ao no Exorcist" (at the end they made freakin SATAN seem like a better person than the new pope....)

The Catholic church in "Spice and Wolf" is an overhanging threat, and is constantly portrayed as corrupt.

I fully understand that in many cases throughout history the Catholic church WAS corrupt, but still it seems like an unfair generalization for anime to portay every catholic leader as corrupt and evil, when anyone would admit the Catholic church has done alot of good throughout history too.

Dont get the wrong idea, im not pissed off or anything, more just curious. I'm well aware that Catholics have often been portrayed negatively in American media as well. But that makes sense when you consider that America was founded by, and mostly occupied by protestants who harbored resentment towards Catholics who pursecuted them and their ancestors.

The Japanese on the other hand, have literally no ties to the catholic church as far as I'm aware. Im almost sure the Japanese wernt persecuted by Catholics at any time in their history, yet they still show them in a constant negative light.

It just seems to me that the Japanese are being over critical of a "culture" or group of people that they dont really understand. I mean Im sure they have catholic churches in Japan just like we have buddhist monastaries here in America. But most Americans dont know the tenants of Buddhism or Hinduism, and I'd bet most Japanese dont really know much detail about the Catholic church, yet catholics are still shown as bad......so my question is why? or am I wrong?

ps: If youre an athiest or protestant who dislikes the Catholic church, I respect your opinions, but keep them to yourself please, Id just like an answer to the question.

Theres a bunch of stories I wanna read, and reading them online seems to be the easiest way to do it. However I'd prefer a site that has the manga available legally so I'm not hurting the industry by reading anything thats been pirated. I'd prefer some sort of free, ad supported site, but Id consider paying a subscription or something if the site is legit

Anyways if such a site even exists I'd love to know about it, otherwise I'll just hafta get the actual books off amazon or somewhere

Anyone know what number diclonius/test subject Lucy was in the lab?

I know hes referred to as "the strongest captain", I know hes captain of squad 11- the fiercest fighters in soul society, I know he beat Tozen, but I cant get over the fact that Ichigo's Shikai was strong enough to cut him, beat him, and break his sword.....so I mean if Ichigo had been using Bankai, it seems like it wouldnt have even been a contest. And Ichigo's bankai was barley enough to beat Byakuya, and some of the arrancar that gave other captains trouble....

You might say, "Kenpachi was going easy on Ichigo during their fight to have more fun" and while its true he wasnt using kendo(2 handed) form, Ichigo broke his sword. Broke. His. Sword. even while his eyepatch was off, which tells me that Kenpachis spirit pressure is close to the level of a liutenant if a shikai could break his sword in ANY circumstance.

I like Kenpachi, hes actually one of my favorite captains. So I'm kind of hoping someone can prove hes NOT one of the weakest captains. Give me evidence for why, but please dont cite his fight with Nnoitra, since I'm pretty sure any captain couldve beaten him, and even Ichigo could have wiped the floor with Nnoitra if he hadnt just gotten his *** kicked.

Like how Rin becomes a demon in Ao no Exorcist, or how Horo from Spice and Wolf is a massive wolf spirit? Dont just want a lead with "superpowers" I want a show where theyre an actual beast, or monster. and again, Id like it to be the male female lead, not a side character.
