I am a first generation indian american, my rents were born in india but i was born in the states. i have a gpa of 2.9 (out of 4) and will have 2 AP courses by the end of senior year. I am founder of 2 clubs in my school and president of 3 clubs. I have played 2 years of football, 3 years of tennis, and wrestled for a year. I am aiming for a 30 on my ACT. I go to the top private school in westchester. I have studied and lived in india for 2 years (7th and 8th grade). I have about 150+ hours of community service and have built my own computer. I want to get into Rochester Institute of Technology or RPI. will bieng indian help or hurt my chances? thank you

I am a junior in high school and I need a new laptop. the meian use for this laptop would be shcool work and programming. I currently program in HTML and Java. I am going to columbia in the summer for a proramming course in C and C++ and my current laptop (13"old white macbook) is dying. I need some sugestions on what is a good laptop for programming and something that will last me 4 yers or so. My price limit is around $1500, it doesnt matter if its windows or mac, and it shoudl have an i5 or i7 processor, atleast 4gb ram, and 500gb HDD, or a 250GB+SSD. thanks

I am getting my license in april and will buy a car in march. I am a 16 year old male but am huge (6'6", 280lbs) and need a car I can fit in. I have tried the corrolla, civic, accord, and camry and they are too small. My mom wants me to get a new car but my dad is on the fence. If i were to get a new car the budget would be 25k, and used would be 10k. I like the camaro, and challenger but am not sure if I could fit. Right now im looking at a 1994 BMW 7series, and a 2002 lincoln towncar. I could use all the help I can get so thanks.

How do I convince my parents to let me get an older car. They have agreed to let me get a car, but when I ask if I can get an older car they say no. The car i want is 5grand its a 1964 ford thunderbird. All help is appreciated, thanks.

I and debating between the 2009 honda civic si, or the kia forte koup. I am going to get it used and the honda civic si is 14,750 and the kia forte koup is 14,950. which one would be a better choice? which ever car i get i will later instal racing seats for show but im not an idiot to street race.

Hi, I am a 16 year old Jr. In highschool, i am 6'5" and 280lbs. I never benched until this september because my parents didn't want me lifting wieghts before 16. In the beggining of september i maxed at 135lbs. now I max at 175. I am a football Defensive Tackle/Nose and need to get stronger, can you recomend some good protien bars and some good lifts to help with my upper boddy strength? You may be wondering why i am not asking about legs is because i maxed out at 505lbs on squat press. Please and Thanks

Hey i am a Jr. in high school and am getting a car later this year or early next. i am 16. I have a few cars that I looked at, i am getting a used car for under 15-17grande. The cars i have looked ta so far are the Lincoln MKZ, the Nissan 350Z, and the honda S2000. The only thing i dont like about the MK is the no Manual transmission. also i love the engine in the S2000 and the 350Z. This is my first car so any opinions are appreciated thanks. and yes I know the insurance may be expensive but I make 10grande in the summer so that will cover it. thanks

im a sophmore in a private school. there is a kid who has been bullying me for 2 years now. he was going to get expelled last year but his parents are huge donors, so he was not. he kept bullying me this year and i decided to get back at him. i insulted him calling him a homo and that he was doing his sister and father, and that i would kill him, and i also swore at him alot. this was all via IM and he has the im's. He then goes and tells his parents that this is happening and they are gonna talk to the principal. I have straight B's and got an 1800 on the SAT i took last year as practice. I live near a very good public school so if i get expelled i will go there. How will this affect me getting into college? and how do i not get expelled?

I am going to turn 16 in october and will be able to drive. I know i wont be able drive without a licensed adult but im going to take a drivers ed so im going to get my license after 6 months. My parents now have a Acura MDX on lease and it will finish next june so i will drive it for about 6-8months. then my parents plan on leasing a mercedes or BMW and i do not want to crash it. so i was thinking of buying a car for under 2000$. is this ok?

i am 15 years old and smoke. i have not smoke for months but am dying for a cigarette or bidi. i was in india for 2 years(im indian) and my driver smoked bidi. i started smoke them and only had 1 a week or so. i always did this outside and away from my house and waited 1hour before getting picked up. now since it is more strict in the US i was wondering how to get a cig once in a while. i am aiming towards already used cigarette blunts so i wont be smoking that much and only once a month. any ideas on how to not get caught with the clothing, breathe. and with whiskey as well. i drink every friday at my friends and dont wanna get caught.

I am 15 years old and play varsity tennis. I recently bought a new racket, Wilson K six one tour, and dont know what strings will go well with this racket. i am 6'4" about 250lbs so i can hit the ball hard. i would prefer no natural gut because i tear through it in 15-30min. i have a average speed of 100-110 mph on my first serve but consistency is about 50%. i would not mind sacrificing some power for control and spin. i am generally looking for a a string that will last long and has control and spin, for i dont need that much power that i can supply myself. thanks to whoever answers
