  • Makeup primer question!?

I just recently bought the Revlon Photoready primer. Is okay for me to use it like a eye primer too or solely for the purpose of foundation makeup?

  • Social Anxiety...about work?

I'm starting training Monday evening. I was given a packet with codes that I need to memorize as I am working as a cashier. I'm 20 and I never had a job before. My friend introduced me into his workplace so that helped a bit.

My fear of screwing up is making me question if I want to work. I want to work, but at the same time I am afraid of people. I try to tell myself that "they're just people what are the chances of me, meeting them again?" In order to calm myself down, but that's not helping. :/

Does anyone else feel that way? If so, what did you do to cope with it?

  • Who's suppose to pay the bill?

My online friend of 4 years (whom I never met) is picking me up after work at my hotel to have dinner with her.

I've seen her and spoken to her over skype before so the tension is less. We're both grown adults.

My question is that who pays the bill? I absolutely don't mind, but is it proper etiquette to do so? Or is it better to split the check?

  • Power Strip on carry-on?

I'm just curious if it is okay. I went on TSA website and there's nothing about bringing a power strip on carry on. (Unless, it's hiding somewhere)

I don't have a mini power strip (can't afford one), but a regular sized one. That has 5 outlets and 2 usb plugs.

I'm travelling standby so I want to be prepared.

  • How do people go clubbing?

So I've been invited to go to a club for my friend's birthday. I'm 20 and I have no clue what people do there. All I know is that I'm probably going to drink water and dance. Since I probably have to drive myself there. I also heard the club is a bit "ghetto". I'm a bit self-conscious. Any advice for a newbie? Btw, how do people hold on to their money. I've seen girls holding small wallet purses, but I have no idea where they put it when dancing.

  • Sony Vegas 12 rendering question, help?

Okay, so I want to save my video into a dvd format, but I know you can use mpeg-2 which is essentially the same thing as a .vob file. The problem is the pull down tab gives me a lot more options and I have no idea which one to pick. There's one with Program Stream, DVD architect w/ or w/o widescreen, HDV, and Blue-ray. I don't want to pick the one that's for widescreen since my family prefers full-screen. Which one of these options will point me in the right direction?

On another note: My DvD player can run divx and is not blue-ray. Does that also mean instead of mpeg-2 I can use .avi?

    Thanks in advance!

  • If I make chocolate bowls will it taste like latex if I use balloons to mold it?

I was wondering because a friend of mine complained that using balloons will make the chocolate taste like latex. I haven't made any of these chocolate bowls and don't want to risk it due my sister is allergic to latex and the taste. Are there any other alternatives I can use? If any?

  • What's the best brand of butter to use to boil crawfish?

I bought Oak Farms Salted Sweet Cream Butter, but I'm afraid it would not bring out a nice creamy crawfish/crayfish flavor. What brand of butter would you recommend to use in crawfish and the price of it?

  • My laptop isn't turning on?

I was on the internet playing my games and listening to music and out of nowhere the laptop just shuts off and won't turn on. Now I don't know if it's the laptop fault for not going on standby when I closed it last night (usually it automatcially goes into standby when I do that. When I tried playing with battery unplugging and replugging it in different places. It just doesn't turn on the laptop charger I know works and so does the laptop. However only the blinking orange light shows and when I took out the charger and put it back in the green and orange comes on for a few seconds then disappears. How can I fix this?
